Finally unlock chapter 4... Need some rest, hope I can get my doll tomorrow.

The requirements to unlock chapter 4 is hard if you don't explore enough.

This one?
yeah, kinda bad, most characters look weird i didn't think she was a child, just younger, a victim of the game excessive costumization and weird art direction.
they could change their age or alter some outfits i guess, would be ok.
Ugh, that's disgusting. Hopefully this sort of thing is censored for the NA release.

This freaking town song with "yeah, yeah" is reminding me of MvC2's menu screen....

"I wana take you on a ride"

god damn it.

Cute how the chat guys tried to give tips to the M3ep streamer. Probably he doesn't understand Japanese (neither the chat guys).

Unless you live under a rock, going to the beach irl has literally every young girl and woman (yes, 13-years-old, too!) show off some boob with a two-piece. Seriously, get over yourselves.

Yeah, the chat is pretty focused on the game so far.
Really enjoying it.

Edit : too bad he is stoping. Time to find a new stream.

I won't tell someone not to boycott XBCX because of a 13 y.o in swimsuits outside of beach context. Some people find this controversial. It's certainly not illegal since there are pageants with even younger girls walking around on stage in swimsuits. OTOH, it's totally optional in XBCX and you're not obligated to play the game that way. However, it seems people are arguing that it is entirely unacceptable and the game should not make it possible.

This is an interesting argument due to its implications for blatanly antisocial videogame content. Can we bring the conversation back to violence in videogames and the depiction and participation (by the player) in activities that are completely illegal in real life in games such as GTAV? There are people who believe that such games should not be made and that they make young people more likely to carry out acts of violence such as school shootings.

So if the argument is that illegal/questionable actions should not be allowed in videogames where do we start setting things right?

EDIT: I don't atually want to start the argument as that would detail the thread.
Just making a point about selective outrage.

Game looks honestly awesome, so much to do, need to read more about this but definitely gonna have to think hard about getting Wii U for this and Splatoon now.

Who is "that beast guy?"

Lu is playable.

He was in one of the trailers. Was fully armored, had like a light saber sword thing.

Lol what? Unless the whole game take place at the beach you comparison is laughable. and good luck finding me a 13-year old wearing this

at the beach.

Uhh uhh yeah...dum dum dum dum uhh uhh yeah.

Game looks good. I love all this controvisial loli talk. Who cares, nobody has to dress innocent Lym up like this u sickos. Everything is top notch so far... hopng for Summer release after Witcher 3

In what world does anyone wear this? It's not even a bathing suit, it's just a strap.

Eh, there are even smaller micro bikinis out there.

I don't think the outfit itself is unrealistic or anything worth mentioning, but putting it on a 13 year old? That's quite creepy, I agree.

I see that someone didn't checked google image... otherwise he will saw those leopard 2 pieces swimsuits on 5 years old girl.
I think this should be first be banned in real life.

This has to do with america mostly.

Do you really want them to just not allow you to use that armor only for that one character? Why not just... not equip it on her?

I just don't get this comment :/ why not just.....NOT equip it on her. Why is it even an option for her, who is supposed to be 13. Look, I get it, it's socially acceptable in Japan to want to sexualize girls 13 and up, and that's fine. But to sit here and even THINK it's ok to leave something in like that for the NA release just absolutely blows my mind.

To those that have an issue with that being patched (and I'm talking about the clothes for the little girl ONLY) Are you planning on dressing her like that while you play the game? It just doesn't make sense why anyone would be opposed to having this option removed for that ONE character only if no one here is even going to use it, right.......right?!?

So, trying to avoid actually watching organic/stream footage of this game before it launches in the West. Curious if anyone can answer these questions:

- In the original Xenoblade Chronicles, it was kind of annoying to track down specific NPCs for quests since they weren't flagged on your map until you got pretty close to them (the listed locations weren't always very helpful, either). I know Xenoblade X has some kind of quest board, but in the cases where you do have to approach NPCs, have they made it easier to find them? Can you use the Nav Ball? Do they show up more prominently on your map?

- How exactly does progress through the story work? Sounds like they're firmly affixing story progress to the quest system, kind of like Skyrim, to allow players to do whatever.

Ugh dunno why twitch is so laggy for me, people should use more hitbox ;)

Twitch is laggy I believe due to the fact that twitch doesn't give video quality control options to people who aren't partnered with them. So the streamer can't give people tuning in, the ability to adjust the quality of the stream.

It's been working fine for me though :)

And I've seen 5 year old run around naked at the beach, they are barely out of the toddler age. A 13 year old? Hell no. And a leather strap is miles worse than leopard two pieces.

This one doesn't look like swimwear it looks like something else especially because of the neck. You can also create giant boobs to fit (or not fit) into these outfits. They weren't kidding about the "sexy gear".

This particular character is a 13 year old not make-your-own avatar...

Wow...is anyone watching the new stream? Where Elma and the others just stand there in the Blade HQ and talking to each other. No bgm...no movement of the characters...thats one hell of a boring cutscene.

1. you've icons and a nav ball to help you.
2. It seems you've to complete some objectives for continuing the story.

I'm seriously wondering why we are still talking about this, instead of ignoring the people that see a 13 year old and think "sex object".

Please people, just ignore them.

Now all we have to do is talk about how there are guns in America and our discussion about sexualization of young characters will be complete. Because... those two are obviously related.

Close enough.
