I'm also tired of the 'bad developer = bad game' sthick that people tout around here and outside of here. If people like fucking Double Helix can prove themselves, why can't Spark? I know motherfuckers in GAF that enjoyed the hell out of LP3 and wouldn't even call it a 'bad' game.

I'm gonna put faith in Spark for this one moment for making a /good/ enough action game. I'm not expecting NG:B godlike perfection.

I genuinely don't get the hatred for this either. I just can't get offended by something that is obviously a spin off and doing it's own thing. Will it be any good ? I have no idea, I think it's look fun and the footage has certainly made me interested in it but time will tell, if I can get a cheap PC copy for day one I may bite.

As far as I'm concerned if you're hating on Yaiba as a 'bad' Ninja Gaiden' game then you're hating on the wrong fucking game. Ninja Gaiden 3 is the target for that, I'm STILL fucking seething about that piece of shit, I can't help it, going from NGB and NG2 to THAT still makes me fuckin cringe. This looks just so far removed from that I can't get annoyed by it and Hayaishi NOT being involved makes me actually want to play it.

Have you seen the gameplay vids? I think I would rather play Ninja Gaiden 3. If Spark Unlimited are going to prove themselves, I don't think this will be the one to do it.

Spark Unlimited proved themselves with Lost Planet 3 which I loved to bits, I have no issues with them at all.

I've had low expectations for this game ever since I heard about it, that said after just watching the gameplay trailer I'm kinda impressed, it's no Black for sure but it can't be worst than most of the casual CAG's just about every dev barr Platinum make nowadays.

I'll pick up a copy for half price.

I agree. Outsourcing can be great, and to be frank I don't know how much input Inafune had on picking studios for his ventures. It's not that I dislike him, in fact I wish him well. It's just that I'm skeptical of Yaiba, and his involvement doesn't necessarily sway that.

Nice, I'll be subscribing.

I'll get it on PS3. Would rather prefer the 60fps PC option but I don't have a gaming PC.

I'm not expecting it to stand side by side with the ultimate quartet of Bayonetta/MGR/NG Black/NG II but I expect it to be okay and a worthwhile diversion. Sorry, but it never played the Devil May Cry games.

Have not seen any of my usual Japanese streamers who play everything even mention this game.

Personally gotta see more of the game. The stupid ass trailers and amazingly unfunny fart joke humor turned me off on it. Then the gameplay vids made me want it. So I need to see what kind of balance they got going on in the full thing before I even consider this pre $20.
