3 isn't really a good jumping off point though, since it's basically the end of the "Kiryu" saga. 4 with the intro of all the characters is better, unless you really want to play the older games, and if you do you might as well start with 1-2. I just don't feel like I missed anything starting with 4.

Yeah I could see someone new to the series playing the start of Y3 and hating it, especially if you have no attachment to the characters.

But then I would always recommend someone start from the beginning of the whole series if they can, I'm so glad I played it from the beginning when the first game came out

Never played a Yakuza game before , and I'm honestly not sure why. I love the setting, and type of game. I kept my PS3 plugged in just for this. Will I be completely lost? Or can I still enjoy the game not having played any of the previous games? It really looks like allot of fun.

Use weapons. For some reason, those two are really good at guarding regular attacks.

Yeah, but you can't make clear data in premium adventure. So if you want to beat Amon and take his sunglasses into premium new game you have to finish Haruka's sidequests during her bit.

29.99 is 62.37 AUD..It's up for 60 so I think it's already included..meaning I've been waiting for it to update instead of downloading it for a day now.

Really should have pre-ordered from the US store, would've saved me $13.
