Yoshi's amiibo destroyed–someone's upset about Wooly World.

I see we're on Step 3 again.

Mine shipped yesterday, and I don't even really care about amiibo. I hope everyone who does has their orders sent like they should. :)

I call bullshit.
They just want an excuse to sell them for a premium directly on eBay.
Why would stock be destroyed instead of stolen anyways?

I doubt a company would be silly enough to try this... then again, dat amiibo money

That would be the ultimate, brick and mortar stores becoming amiibo scalpers

Rupture de stock, altough if translated litterally, means the stock got destroyed, is a french term for "out of stock".

That's all, folks.

I'm a french speaker.

According to that Auchan Twitter account, it will affect all French retailers. Part of Nintendo's stock really was destroyed; that's not a translation error (only the "rupture of stock" from Boulanger's email is gibberish). But I don't think any other countries are affected.

They should have destroyed every single Amiibo. Amiibos ruin everything, they're just trash that ruin games that they have compatibility with.

First the Splatoon Squid amiibo were stolen and now the Yarn Yoshi amiibo are destroyed; what's next Europe, the Chibi-Robo amiibo?

EB Games and JBHIFI in Australia have removed the blue one from their sites. Hopefully just because they're sold out and not destroyed D: haha

I have a blue preorder.

Could it be a manufacturing defect local to the region? Maybe something Nintendo realized could go bad really fast and took the axe to it, like a certain supply of yarn being used?

Why couldn't they have destroyed all those Mario, Luigi, Peach and Zelda amiibo instead. Would even have the added benefit of freeing up space for newer ones.
