As for the price...

Weird. It's not discounted on Xbox for me.

I dont give a fuck if you consider it optional. It's way less expensive than MKW:
MKW
- Less than $500 console paywall.
- $80 now... $80 in 2030.
SCW
- Less than $250 console paywall (Switch Lite, Xbox One Digital... good luck to find second hand Switch 2)
- $70 now... 25% Off in 2026, 50% off in 2027, 80% off + all DLC in 2030.
($90 is the optional DLC, there are free Sega DLC each month)
Annnddd? Do you know which one has more content? At $70 does it have more content? A lot more factors here.I dont give a fuck if you consider it optional.
MK= 80$ for all the content at launch
SCW= 90$ for all the content at launch
This statement is a fact.
Obvious bad faith.I dont give a fuck if you consider it optional.
MK= 80$ for all the content at launch
SCW= 90$ for all the content at launch
This statement is a fact.
The sales ended yesterday.Weird. It's not discounted on Xbox for me.

Doesnt really matter. Im not paying 90$ to have all the launch content for any game.Annnddd? Do you know which one has more content? At $70 does it have more content? A lot more factors here.
Is it launch content? I thought it was being rolled out, or is that the free DLC?Doesnt really matter. Im not paying 90$ to have all the launch content for any game.
It doesnt matter to me which one ends up being more expensive. Im all for releasing dlc for a game im currently playing. But at launch i want all thr content that is there at launch, and not for 90$.Obvious bad faith.
Standard edition is $70 vs $80.
We'll compare the standard+ DLC price later. (paid DLC are not on the market yet for Mario Kart)
It doesn't suck, but it also doesn't really do much new either. The open world free roam thing is completely pointless, it has nothing to do and just quit after a few minutes of driving around. Such a fucking waste, this is a concept that PG took and did wonders with Forza Horizon and Ubisoft with The Crew and I felt maybe they would look into that to make it sorta like that, but Mario themed and its nothing like that, its just boring and empty lol
I don't even get why the game is named from its weakest element (Sorta like Ghost Of Tsushima), maybe they originally had more going on and just focused on just the normal races and scaled back or something.
Not the worst MK, but not the best either. Maybe I'm getting too old lol, its already deleted from my Switch 2 and we've moved on.
Didn't math it out, but I bet it still cost less than OG Mario Kart at launch when you factor inflation.I dont give a fuck if you consider it optional.
MK= 80$ for all the content at launch
SCW= 90$ for all the content at launch
This statement is a fact.
And the SNES sold 49M units. Sonic has a potential userbase AT LEAST 10x larger, with the cost of multiplying games being virtually zero.Didn't math it out, but I bet it still cost less than OG Mario Kart at launch when you factor inflation.
Transformed is amazing lol, no clue what you're on aboutI remember I bought some Sonic kart racing game for Wii U back when I was waiting for MK8 to release. Never again.
Sorry sir, I'll try to force my own opinion to match yours the next time I play a shitty game.Transformed is amazing lol, no clue what you're on about
Kart Racers are all pretty similar in their gameplay, I'm just genuinely confused about how you can dislike the game if you're used to that genreSorry sir, I'll try to force my own opinion to match yours the next time I play a shitty game.
The Wii U port was hot garbage.Kart Racers are all pretty similar in their gameplay, I'm just genuinely confused about how you can dislike the game if you're used to that genre
Don't waste your time trying to debate with Nintendo fanboysObvious bad faith.
Standard edition is $70 vs $80.

Many such casesThe Wii U port was hot garbage.
We can lock the thread.
Ha ha good one.
Even a low effort game like 0 Hype Team Sonic Racing sold at 3,5 million units.
Imagine now a true full fledged racing games, with proper marketing, partnerships (Mac Laren, Subaru, Redbull...), guests (Miku, Minecraft, Bob) and the new popularity of Sonic. ($1 billion movies has been released after Team Sonic Racing).
The Deluxe edition preorders crushing the standard edition on the playstation charts is announcing new sales high for the franchise.
On top of that, if the game succeeds Sega claimed that they'll add content for years. (which means win win situation: More guests for the players like Atlus, Am2, Warners, Disney stars... Sega has a long history of Disney partnerships, especially Utsumi who helped creating Kingdom Hearts with Square.)
TSR sold 3,5 million units.
With Minecraft, Miku, Sonic Movies it's very realistic to expect minimum 5 million units.
Since Sega did an excellent job at promoting Crossworlds at SGF (reigniting the Sega Nintendo cold war on stage!!!), partnering with legendary Maclaren of the gold old days and keeping the pressure with the Esport World cup,
i think Sonic Crossworlds will be a massive success passing the 10 million units.![]()
