"Nintendo games are like indies, and worth at most $19" 🤡
The Xbox division laid off many employees and closed studios, there is no way to compete in a new generation this way.

You, as an Xbox consumer, will migrate to which system?
voting closes in 20 days.

The poll is named PS6 just for the purpose of subliminal messaging.

Whichever answer you pick, don't worry because that's also an Xbox

I started migrating over to PS5 in 2023. I still play on my Series X but rarely buy games for it. Now when Xbox seems to be at its last straw I see no reason to look back. I may migrate to PC eventually.

I had 20 good years with Xbox.

fwiw this is by far the most likely course of action

not for me, I'll be getting Super Magnetic Neo Remake on my Dreamcast 2.

I was with Xbox since the beginning. I'll stick with them until the ship sinks, just like with Sega and the Dreamcast. Been with PS since the beginning too and have all their consoles. They're just game systems, not identities.

Take a look around you. It's sinking right now. What you're doing is waiting for it to hit the sea bed.

Saw the writing on the wall. Lucked into a Nintendo switch 2 preorder through Nintendo and decided to take advantage of a crazy good trade in offer at GameStop. Traded in my series x for 437 bucks in store credit. If I could sell my Microsoft account I would.

Don't really like Sonys direction either and since my wife and kid like Nintendo, I went to Nintendo.

The last Playstation I brought was the Ps4 Pro, (not at time of release though) I skipped the PS5 generation, and unlikely to get the PS6, unless they have a compelling reason along the lines of a Metal Gear solid exclusive, Motorstorm like game, I'm not interested in the streaming B.C route, and prefer the way Xbox did it...So I may just get another Xbox if it allows me to delve into an extensive B.C catalogue of games, some of which have not been bettered decades later...

Probably PS6 or a decent PC. I've been an Xbox guy since 2007, but the writing is on the wall. Even when they acquire good developers, they still manage to screw things up.

You guys are ridiculous.

But if Xbox folds, I'll give up gaming honestly.
I don't think it's that ridiculous. Sega didn't leave the console business overnight either. And Sega actually understood the importance of good exclusive games to lure people in.

Microsoft's "strategy" the last few years reminds of how NEC/TTI ran the TG16 in the US. The potential is there, but it's obvious the decision makers don't actually play video games. They aren't playing chess, they aren't even playing checkers. They're doing paint by numbers, and they're making a giant mess.

Yeah these threads are getting outta hand. Microsoft spent all that money on Activision and zenimax and 3 years later are shuttering it all.

Since we can't post about politics I'll just say that the economy is in the Absolute shitter because of self inflicted wounds the last 6 months. Companies are just tightening their belts

Already got a rog ally and a good PC. I really like when games support play anywhere program.
I guess Xbox will now finally go the PC box route. But they definitely must work on their os. Steam os is nice, but it's too complicated for ordinary users to get something to run on the system if it is not directly supported. So currently Windows is the only option there for the mass market with such PC boxes.

Also have a PS5 but it mostly collects dust. Astro bot was the last game I played on the system. Not really a good replacement IMHO.

Already moved on to PC and, honestly, I feel like I should have years ago. It's great.

Been an Xbox customer since day 1, getting one of 4 consoles the local Toys R Us got at launch. Sad to see what the business has become since the 360 days but I've had enough. Moved to PC last year and haven't looked back.

I'm actually interested in their Xbox PC, it suits my setup perfectly.

But, if Xbox did indeed go the way of the dodo, I'd just go full PC. Switch 2 isn't enough for my interests, and PlayStation stopped doing anything interesting by the end of last generation. PC, on the other hand, just keeps getting better.
