Link has different hair styles? Nice!
Hadn't considered that. They could easily tie outfits to almost any amiibo.
Not saying that a Mario amiibo would have him wearing a cap and overalls, but something blue/red? Totally.
They mentioned it was a different hairstyle. Looks like he has it up in a bun.
Its running on Wii U and Aonuma said it will be the same experience on NX.
Just speculation here, but it could have 1080p, better draw distance, image quality, 60fps, use whatever controller innovation/ gimmick of the NX controller for something.
Does anyone have the picture of the Fire Rod description? I know I saw that somewhere.
The Animal Crossing amiibos will give all your clothes cobwebs.
Always nice to have confirmation. Super excited to see the NX version.
What they showed yesterday was the WIi U version right? Cause even that I thought was impressive.
TON of nice footage here, some item spoilers I guess

Check the 41 min mark for a nice little moment
According to Eurogamer, if you open a treasure chest by kicking it when you don't have any boots equipped, Link will hurt his foot and take damage.
This is MGS levels of insanity.
Yep, someone on the channel said it was WiiU.

So was it confirmed that this demo was running on a wii u?
I very much doubt it will be 60 fps. 60 fps would not be the same game experience as 30 fps, and they would need to remake animations to synch with 60fps separately. And the tradition of 3D Zelda games has always been 30 fps.
But better hardware could mean at least mean 30 fps without drops, and higher resolution.
This is the same moot argument used in many situations. Where are the games on other more powerful platforms that somehow use physics or destructibility in a meaningful, better way, in a similar game? I mean what would the typical zelda combat situations benefit from better AI? Gameplay innovations are often really simple and not tied to increased processing power. Many of the things seen in this new zelda could've been done on weaker hardware too.
Okay, I've figured out a few more characters, so here's an update to the Zelda U Hylian alphabet cipher:
Figured out C, K, and M. J, Q, V, and X are the only ones left but I'm pretty sure I know what V is.
this video is aces.
at 7:41, the guy playing gets clever, lights his torch on fire and tries to throw it at some enemies to burn them. it kind of doesn't hit either of them though. Not only does he accidentally set the first enemy's club on fire, the second enemy walks up to the torch and uses it to light his own weapon on fire, too lolol
ALL YOUR BASE ARE
Expected. Don't know why peoole didnt think the NX would have superior visuals

Cool. I have no worries purchasing the WIi U version, double dip on the NX version when/if I ever get one.
This was so obvious that I'm shocked anyone thought otherwise

@ 18:18 the translator refers to the dev team using different types of vehicles in interesting ways. He says "like the horse basically" after but it felt like it may have been an unintended hint at something more. Or maybe not, idk
Did they announce a release date to this?
2017 is as specific as we got, I think. More than likely alongside the NX.
What is that?
Let us pray for the 1st of January. lol

I don't get the "looks barren" comments.
During the stream, in the space of 15 minutes, they'd find an enemy camp, loot it, then cook something using the food they found, then not far away from there they'd find a secret chest with goodies inside, then they'd find a shrine, clear the shrine, then some story dialog would ensure, then they'd glide off and find some ruins, maybe fight a guardian, etc. The density of stuff to do seemed fine to me. And they didn't even show towns!
