Thanks to Marvel, I've found my type.
Dark hair. Blue or green eyes. Pale skin, but doesn't always have to be.

I dig girls from almost every race (favorite race is Asian, dat yellow fewer) but for some reason don't like most black women. I can't remember when I watched pRon with a black women in it the last time.
It's pretty rare I find other races attractive, I don't really know why it is, I did have a crush on Thandie Newton though.
I don't think it's racist in the slightest, anymore than not finding men attractive is sexist.

I love Asian women but I think that term is dirty too.I don't get it.
Do people honestly think that a term like "yellow fever" is an attractive way to refer to an ethnic group?
I mean, far be it from me to say, I'm not Asian...but nothing about that phrase is attractive.
It's like when people refer to themselves as "chocolate chasers"...
Not really true. People love to think they were chosen for their unique traits. They feel it gives them a safe "in" over other potential choices.it's out of our control, just don't let the girls find out about it: it doesn't feel good to be chosen because you are some particular ethnicity/race.
No one likes to be objectified or treated as some fetish. People like it when their partners like them for themNot really true. People love to think they were chosen for their unique traits. They feel it gives them a safe "in" over other potential choices.
No one except the sociology major with a strident and rare theory against ethnic objectification will get mad if they are told they are loved for their unique physical traits.

Having a racial preference is fine, the issue is fetishisizing certain races, which is different entirely. Additionally there are some people who won't date certain races, which is downright wrong and racist.
Is it? I don't find black women attractive. Even the "most" attractive examples given do nothing for me. The skin tone itself is unattractive to me, and the features typical to the race are equally unattractive to me. Should I still be dating black women despite finding them unattractive simply to not be viewed as racist?
I can't believe people use the term 'yellow fever'. It sounds weird as fuck.
White women prefer white men to the exclusion of everyone else—and Asian and Hispanic women prefer them even more exclusively. These three types of women only respond well to white men. More significantly, these groups’ reply rates to non-whites is terrible. Asian women write back non-white males at 21.9%, Hispanic women at 22.9%, and white women at 23.0%. It’s here where things get interesting, for white women in particular. If you look at the match-by-race table before this one, the “should-look-like” one, you see that white women have an above-average compatibility with almost every group. Yet they only reply well to guys who look like them.
Men don’t write black women back. Or rather, they write them back far less often than they should. Black women reply the most, yet get by far the fewest replies. Essentially every race—including other blacks—singles them out for the cold shoulder.
I don't think that would help.
Because there's absolutely nothing racist about it. Not finding a skin tone attractive is no different than not finding really tall girls attractive. Or heavy girls. Or anything else.

...ruling out a wide variety of traits "typically associated with a race" is not the same thing as ruling out specific traits such a "tall" or "fat".
Seeing as how there is so much variation in skin tone among black people... well, I wouldn't call it racist but...
I won't even touch the part about "features typical to the race" though.
heh
Great example!yeah when it's unique traits. If it's just because you are japanese, korean, italian or whatever you end up feeling like almost anyone of the same ethnicity would do - doesn't make it much of a safe in. I guess it works if the person is a minority outside of her country, like an asian in america. But if you go to korea and get a korean gf because you want to be with a korean she is not going to see it that way when she finds out. To her it basically says she can be swapped out as long as the next person also is korean.
I don't find the skin tone itself attractive. Even really tan white girls do nothing for me.
And to pretend races don't have physical traits associated with them is just ignorance. I never claimed every black women has all these physical characteristics, simply that they tend to have a number of them, which compounded with me already finding the skin tone itself unattractive leads me to look elsewhere.
You know when we try to pretend we're all the same that just breeds ignorance. Are we really going to pretend blacks and other races share the same hair type?
I'm not even going to ask what these features are...
I was just point out that saying you don't find an entire race of people attractive is not the same thing as not finding one specific trait such as height or weight attractive. Not even close.
Who is doing this?
I don't get it.

I am speaking from specific experience with specifically Korean girls.
They love that you appreciate their specifically Korean features. They love the appreciation for their features, because it isn't even a given those others outside their culture will even like them.
But I will speak for myself: when someone appreciates me because of my (foreign to them) ethnic traits. It doesn't feel "bad". It doesn't feel "creepy". It feels good. I'm glad I'm different and that others especially like it.
I'm a man, yes. Could be different for many females. But due to my history and relations with foreign women, I know: many women love to appreciated for their different traits. It's a fact of my history. People love to be loved for what they are, and if it's for their ethic features? It's an asset.
I don't find their physical features attractive. In a lifetime of experiences with women this has rung true. I'm always prepared to be proven wrong.
Dude, I don't give the slightest of fucks what you think is attractive, or about "proving you wrong." Black people aren't put here on this Earth to prove you and your narrow-mindedness wrong.
But when you walk and quack like a duck don't get upset when people start looking at you like a duck.
Each time you say it's racist to claim you don't find physical traits of a race attractive, you are trying to claim such differences don't exist.
Preferences and namely race based ones has nothing to do with biology.Biology works how it works. Can't blame attraction preferences to ethics.
http://www.thebolditalic.com/articles/3180-why-yellow-fever-is-different-than-having-a-type-''I'll describe this in the best way I can: the prettiest Asian female is, to me, prettier than the prettiest female of any other race or ethnicity. I've got that typical yellow fever. Japanese, Korean, Chinese, whatever. I just find myself more attracted to them.
I've talked to people who find this trait of mine to be off-putting, but I think it's pretty common and I believe that everyone has a preference. That's not to say that other girls aren't attractive to me - of course they are - but I still have my favorites.
Is there anything socially wrong with this? Does anyone else share these feelings?
Edit: Yes, I am a white male, and yes, I have an Asian girlfriend who is aware of this.
There's nothing narrow-minded about not finding something physically attractive. For instance hair is a big thing for me, straight, thinner hair specifically. Are we going to pretend this is a trait black people have?
There's nothing racist about this. In trying to hard to not be racist, some of you are missing the point. This is about personal physical attraction which is a very personal thing no amount of PR culture can change.
Preferences and namely race based ones has nothing to do with biology.
I'm speaking about encounters here in Canada, I'm not sure it matters where though.Well I also speak from experience
Maybe it feels good for you because you get that attention when you are in Korea? I mean, I'm not even sure I would take it as a compliment if someone appreciated my swedishness here in sweden, but abroad it makes you feel a bit special right?
So if I go to korea, get a korean gf and let her know how I have a preference for koreans and how much I adore them it wouldn't be that strange if she started getting jealous and unsure of how trustworthy I am.
Once she starts thinking about why she likes you, that thing is always going to hang over if it's something she has been made aware of.
Ignoring for a moment the fact that this is some weird logic, I explicitly stated that I wouldn't call any of what you said racist. Misinformed or lacking experience, maybe. I mean, there's a world of difference between Jasika Nicole and Lupita Nyong'o.
And I didn't want to touch the second part of your post because you seem to be inconsistent in what you're referring to. One time it's skin colour, the other it's race, which makes it hard to reply to.
I think you should evaluate the realities of society, standards of beauty and how they're portrayed by the media (and how this portrayal has shifted over time), and consider just why you're not attracted to certain things.
What makes certain skin colours attractive or not to people?
(Honest question)
