Don't worry, it never goes into full on-mode while downloading. It goes back to regular standby after the installation is complete.

I told the proper channel because if I like to think that if I was a Sony employee, I'd want to know about things like this so they could get fixed. I took advantage of the glitch, because I'm not a Sony employee and I wanted the game. That is the beginning and the end of my thought process before Flandy took that screencap. And people started calling me Drew...

It's quite pointless. Maybe they didn't want the game to get confused between Circle for Grab and Circle for opening a chest.

I've done this exact thing in the past. Since then for me, if it's not totally borked up, it's staying on till it is. I think when the need to precise is there, replacing it because you have to, your swap job will be better. Or something. Tape is your friend!

Oh very true, cool stuff. Was worried I missed it by literally minutes, but got it downloading now.

So regarding Dragon's Crown, I initially passed on it last time it was $20 because of hearing that it doesn't run well on the vita, but I'm still interested in playing it. Is it playable with some slowdown or is it really bad? Should I jump in for $20?
 
I'm not sure about football manager anymore.

I want to show my support, but $40 is too much. I'll probably wait for a discount.

It's very playable, slowdowns galore but you get used to them. But if you don't care about portability (and it's a great portable title), I'd go with the PS3 version since it runs better.

In any case, both are well worth the $20.

You don't know the half of it. I just made myself a spreadsheet to keep track of my digital games (yes, you get so many free games you have to make spreadsheets!) and I counted 78 free games since Feb '13 between my PS3 and Vita. That is insane seeing as I paid $35 for my subscription for that time period with a black friday deal. Not to mention the multitude of games I picked up for less than $10 that are normally $40+ because of being a PS+ member. I don't care what people say about renting games or whatnot, 78 games a year for $50 is the best deal in gaming.

I never saw it for ps+. I got my vita In Jan-Feb, And This is the first I've seen of it. The usual showed up for me (Uncharted, Wipeout, Gravity rush) And whatever else was free in the months following.
 
This list shows it as the free game for December 2013. I had already bought it on sale before then so I don't really remember it being there, aside from being slightly disappointed at not getting a new vita game that month!

Hmm, now I am torn. Dragon's Crown plays better on PS3 and has local multiplayer, which would be awesome this summer when I am living with my brother again. We love a good couch co-op, and it beats playing Streets of Rage on the genesis for the 100th time. Totally forgot local multiplayer as a thing. But portability is huge for me, and honestly Dragon's Crown could get a tad embarrassing playing on the TV in front of my girlfriend!

The framedrops on the Vita aren't that bad, only problem is that the action can get a little bit too much for the small screen in rare occasions.
The controls work much better on the Vita though. Looting chests, picking doors and drawing runes is perfect for the touch screen.

That leaves only local coop as something really missable.

Protip: get your brother a Vita :D

Poor Lazy Ass Me, I just slept and I've missed A GOW glitch on the PSN, Batman AO being 7.49 and Sonic for 5 usd. I think I should maintain my Insomnia rather than curing it.

I think I would check GAF on the morning not on the Evening now. Can't stay awake til midnight since I have a job.

I hope when a game worth getting for free is glitched I'll hear about it outside of an inconspicuous thread for it! I'd have never known.

Them putting full games up as demos is always hilarious.

And (flying get Info) Bullet Girls from Sakura Wars V/Assault Gunners developer Shade and publisher D3.

It's an action shooter with high school girls and has costume break and customizable underwear. And has "cross-examination special training" using touch screen. I don't know what that is but I think I know what that is - if you know what I mean.

I don't even know what Action Shooter means.

I played Assault Gunners for a bit, and I'll say I don't like it very much. But then, it's a 1500 yen game that you have to farm parts. So I don't think you can expect much from Bullet Girls. :/

Nah, the port is pretty mediocre and readily apparent that it was a quick rush job.

No native res, not even steady 30, the cutscenes are PS2 resolution and dont even fill the screen, and dumb menu like DMC HD where if you want to switch games you have to back out of the entire game. Not even the text or UI is native and makes it look really messy and unpleasant to read

Good thing i got it from pseudo cross-buy otherwise i'd be salty over spending money on this "HD" remaster
