I don't understand what's with all the nitpicking here. It's a super hero movie. Spidey has been in far worse stories than this in the actual comic arcs. .
What I really liked about the movie was just how he moved. He did his classic poses while web slinging, he seemed a little more 'spider-like' during fights, specifically in small enclosures. Or how he stopped that cop car from squishing the cop. or stopping the bus from rolling over and killing people. he was very much like the comic book character brought to life, far, far more than its previous film incarnations.
There's a lot of details I was extremely happy to finally see on screen. If anything, this movie has felt the closest to the source material with the exception of the airplane scene and aunt May in the hospital scene.
You're supposed to go into these movies with a suspension of belief. Just enjoy the movie for what it is and let the kid in you sit there with his mouth open because god damnit, comic book spider-man has finally, truly been brought to life.
