This movie just feels generally goofy. I'm there day one, but the more I see of it, the more I think that Marvel is about to have its first flop.
It definitely won't be as big as the big name hero movies, but I'm hoping it'll do okay.
I love everything about the feel they are going for. I hope though that the narrative and characterizations hold up a solid plot though.
I have a feeling Benicio Del Toro will be one of the best things about this movie.
It'll do fine. It most likely won't be some huge hit or anything but it'll make enough to probably justify a sequel. I'm guessing between 300 million - 500 million. Maybe more if they advertise an exclusive sneak peak at Avengers 2 or something like that.

No shit. I meant why Ronan. He's Ronan in name only, from what we've seen so far. He's Kree, he's got the hammer, and it kind of ends there.
If he does a face turn at the end then yeah, that's Ronan, but so far? Nah. Plus he sticks out way more because all the other characters seem spot-on.
Well, I fear for a derail but its getting me more excited than Star Wars, which is funny because both are Disney productions.
You do know Ronan was a badguy up until Annihilation? So for about 98% of his history.
