Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 7: How Can My Smash Brother Be This Cut

I'm pretty sure Injustice doesn't require a second stick that performs aerial attacks without altering your trajectory/quick uncharged smash attacks.
No, but it is a fast paced game and, as for the second stick, does the placement on the Pro Controller make that unusable? I don't mean that to sound like an attack, I'm legitimately asking. I rarely use the c-stick, so that's something that doesn't affect my playstyle much.

It lets you control the character in the air and attack independently. This is much more obvious in Jigglypuff, who relies heavily on her air movement to move around and attack safely.

All of the characters revealed to coincide with a game's release have been major characters in their respective games, but Wario is obviously far from being important to Mario Kart. (Not to mention Smash Bros.' "main" Wario is from WarioWare, but the Mario Kart version wears overalls.) I think we're more likely to see the Wii U version's Mario Kart stage next week if anything, honestly, or maybe just an explanation of the Spiny Shell item.

Yeah, I was thinking of same thing. Mainly I'm pretty sure that we would get Spiny Shell item on that day.

Anyway, I think I'm going to use It's been a year subtitle for sure; since it could play of with sarcasm that it has been almost year ever since we had serious subtitle as well. :P

The movement might not feel as natural, but it's hard to say without actually playing it.
Like georly said, though, I feel like it's something you can get used to.

There's a YouTube vid of a guy playing Melee with u pro controller and he loved it. He had no issues.
I think people are just not wanting to have to adapt to something new, which I get, but some are acting like the Pro Controller is the end of the world. Maybe there's some issue I'm missing, but I think it's a solid design. It's only major issue is that the L and R buttons aren't pressure sensitive (which sucks for racing games), but for Smash it should work great.

lmao

Why does no one replace the Z button in their mockups. WHY WOULD YOU WANT THAT TO RETURN!?

They don't know what's good. They just know they like the Gamecube controller.

THe Z button was a last minute addition and it shows. The L and R buttons are clearly designed to cradle your fingers the whole time so having to lift and move your right finger to press an additional button clearly goes against that initial design. It's ok for once in a while commands, but anything more than that it's a bit of a pain, especially on new controllers where it was pretty stiff. If one is going to re-release a GCN inspired controller you might as well fix the negatives. The original Classic Controllers method of having the Z buttons to the side rather than in front of the L and R buttons could be one possible solution over this.

Thought it was a direct insult against you, as titles insulting individual GAF members was one of the two conditions I culled titles for (the other being if they were too long).

It's not worthy to be Smash subtitle but it should be his title. Moderator, if you read this. Please change his title. Troubled Bets would make sense for his title rather than subtitle for thread.

That was awful on the original classic controller though. I'd rather shift my index finger to the side slightly than have to shift it over one button to hit another. I wouldn't mind them changing it in any case for the PDP release, since you could always use the adapter anyway.

The poll for the next thread title is now live!!! To get the link to the poll, just quote this post to reveal it. Remember: If you don't vote and he next thread title ends up sucking, then it's your fault (unless IntelliHeath doesn't go with the winning title, then it's his fault).

Oh man
Some of these are tough

Waned to go with my "101 Less Days Till Disapointment", or "Ready to Blow for Shulk", but"It's Been a Year" won out

Oh yeah. That.

[URL="http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=108856209&postcount=4097"]I keep seeing people mentioning Shulk. No way he's in. Get real people !
In fact I'm so sure he won't, I'm ready to suck all the dicks available if Shulk ever makes it in Smash.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 8: So Zetta Slow.

Hey guys, the pro controller for wiiu is absurdly comfy and i had no problems overall adapting to it.

played monster hunter / dkc / spm3dw with it and it's really responsive and both sticks are fine.

i get many people love the GC controller but yeah, the pro controller is awesome.

Wouldn't pro controllers also have syncing and interference issues?

I'm quoting a Reddit user right here - the thread is about this GC controller

Redditdude said:
I would like to point out that for all intents and purposes these controllers will still be wireless since they plug into the Wii Remote and act as Classic Controllers.
I would also like to point out again that unless 128,000 Bluetooth signals are being broadcast at once then wireless interference and latency won't be an issue for Wii U anyway.

Do it, you're in for a beautiful treat!

Yeah, played a little of my cousin's copy. Think there's a store nearby with it, so I hope I can get it soon
(Probably will get a game after finals. If I do, I promise, TWEWY is what Ill go for)

Anyways, in regards to the GC controller, I would love it but can adapt. Just get rid of the z's for more convential bumpers, maybe X360 ones

What? Of course not, it's nothing of insulting. :P

Not worthy? Let the people speak!

What are we talking?

Not sure as of yet, but it would have to a week before the event! Just in case stuff end up happening. I'll think of something.
