Ok so i'm not really bothered by the classicism of this, cause i believe a videogame can find its soul in the execution, not only in the concept.

It's super impressive and look cinematographic ingame, but something confused me. I couldn't see any real destruction. They talked about it and they showed us that nice setting with broken walls, but each time the guy shot on it, nothing really happened.. or did i miss it ?

i dont understand this whole 'generic' bs people keeping spouting. who gives a shit, what the hell did uncharted/tlou do that was so innovative? and that was a damn good game.

Dat tease.

Weapons seem pretty cool, but those graphics are off the hook. God damn! I could hear the E3 audience wow-ing in my head, lol.

The shooting and stuff looks very similar to the Uncharted series. I could see a lot of comparisons drawn from those 2 things honestly. A very cinematic cover based shooter. Gun play didn't look amazing but the graphics look to be just about the best I've seen in a game.

Kudos to those writing off the gameplay with just a 30 second sneak peak, that must take skill
The ignorant GOW comparisons are even better.

Open world? lolgtaripoffluls
TPS? lolgursofwurz

I will take "another" TPS over another goddamn moba game. How many MOBAs come out in the next year? 973?

Can we announce "best graphics of E3" already?

Uncharted 4 have a really really high bar to pass here and considering it's being developed on the same TLOU engine i don't think it's gonna pass it visually.

IMO it's the best looking game I've ever seen, i can't believe this shit is real, it's CGI quality.

Pretty shooter? Pretty shooter. And that's all we can say about it, really, so people who like those types of games will be satisfied. Everybody else? You can move on :)

well it would be cool if they tried to do something novel

better AI... destructability... something

hell, even Wolfenstein had that cool laser mechanic.

Can someone please explain to me what would make a 3rd person shooter not a typical 3rd person shooter? I like the fact that it's a 3rd person shooter w/ amazing fucking graphics...

Lol @ all the people who can say ggeneric, shitty aimin and gears clone from 3 min of gameplay.
Some want this game to fail, i feel the jealousy...

Jealousy, really? What's up with people coming up defending like this. Saw one poster in David Cage thread as well.

this is just the intro level, but I hope there is more to this game. i am expecting the gameplay to change drastically once the monsters show up

also, the destruction/soft body physics looks rather lame now

"Chapter III"

The soft body physics thing...I have to assume it was never as a big a deal as the usual useless pseudo insiders made it out to be, because everything regarding destruction in what has been shown so far seems completely ordinary. And I imagine if it really was a big deal it would be showcased.

According to Shinobi, RAD didn't even know it was being shown today.

Didn't shinobi asked to be banned from GAF because it was taking a huge toll on his life? But then he is doing the same thing on twitter. What gives?

As for the game, even with lagging, it looks pretty cool. But i think that showing a contextless shooting section is not very good to show the game.they should've shown a buildup to the scene, other mechanics of the game, and not only the shooting mechanics, which are very similar to other third person shooters (even though the guns look very creative).

yea the PR for this game has been a disaster just like driveclub. They need to show something more substantial and diverse. showing 10 seconds of the intro level isn't cutting it
Yeah why didn't they show every section of every level in one go.

Just put a Let's Play walkthrough where you get the Platinum trophy up already several months from release.

Fuck sake Sony.

This was never a thing.

Yeah, maybe not, but it's one of the few big announced exclusives that's gotten a questionable amount of pre-release marketing for its production values and visuals. Maybe I'm looking at all of the constant gif spamming as the hype or hope, but this seems a bit cold. They need a much better reveal than what they've done so far, so I guess E3 show it is.

The length was fine, this was a sneak peak - pre E3.

However I was not impressed and feel a little less hyped right now. Horrible low 20s FPS and near constant screen-tearing. Looked really rough.

Still interested in the concept and setting but this was perhaps not the best way to re-reveal the game. Can totally understand those 2015 claims now.

I don't no why everyone knocking the gameplay is a fanboy. People did the same thing when they saw Ryse. It's not hard to see generic gameplay. It'd be one thing if this was a small part of a larger picture but this is two showcases in a row with this shit. Where are the monsters?

Now is they were saying it wasn't impressive graphically they'd clearly be trolling
