Grand Theft Auto V - Coming for PS4, Xbox One and PC this Fall - Trailer

Already beat it. Its a pretty good game. Definitely bogs down at times and is in no way worth a dbl dip.

That's what I'm leaning toward. It was fun, and I enjoyed most of my time with the campaign, but I will likely be disappointed. I'm happy for everyone who is finally getting a shot - it's a good game. The online multiplayer stuff isn't nearly as fun as it sounds like it should be, but single player is great.

Great news held off on the last gen version because was hoping this would happen. From what shown here looks like it was well worth holding out for.

I wonder if this is going to require 3GB of vram for "ultra" textures on PC like watchdogs did. It'll be interesting to see the PC requirements.

If that trailer was representative of what we are gonna get this fall then Rockstar has already made the best looking open world game this gen. If anybody even remotely tries to say something like Watch Dogs or Infamous I will smack you back to reality. :P

Will be interesting, but Watchdogs issue is the streaming of textures, even with 3 or 4GB VRAM it stutters. The textures are really good quality though i have to say, its hard to find a spot that looks bad.

One the one hand this looks visually fantastic and I'd love to do all the open world running around stuff again.

On the other hand I actively hated about 1/3 of the story missions. The whole arc with the FBI/CIA was awful, didn't make any sense, didn't give you anything and got in the way of what the game should have been about - the heists.

So I'm conflicted about this one.

This is exactly the part where I became really happy. Based on my Socialclub stats, I have 85 hours in online mode already, and it looks like I'll be putting in another 85+. What they showed looks gorgeous. Not sure I agree with everyone about traffic density though. Part of the fun for me has been driving, and it seems like a lot more cars on the road could hurt that.

I have at least 40 hours logged online, probably double that in single player.

I've got the driving down pat. I'm sure you do too.

For this version, I wanted some curveballs thrown at me. Denser traffic and the graphics ratcheted up to 11 will be just the ticket to let me learn the world all over again. I have a feeling I'll get a similar, if not more pronounced feeling of 'This is new to me but I feel like I've been here before' vibe playing this, as I did playing GTAV for the first time after wearing out GTA SA. For me, the confirmation of denser traffic and world detail is EXACTLY what I wanted to hear. Watching that trailer was like a gaming dream come true.

No new single player content?

Wonder what ever happened to that

It's still coming, it's been confirmed to be in the works. Notice we didn't hear any dialogue from this trailer. This was a 'It's coming, and it's better than ever' re-introduction to the world. We'll surely have multiple additional trailers coming in the future. We may even have three new character trailers like they did last year, showing the new single player offerings from each perspective. That would be great.

SWEET! I was not expecting this announcement at E3, definitely a surprise for me. Played to 95% completion on 360 and can't wait to jump back into Los Santos on my Xbox One and 100% it.

Also lol @ the folks pointing out how ironic it is that two of the most-anticipated releases this year are GTA V and Last of Us. However this is that awkward year between console generations so it's somewhat understandable..

Looked better but not that great all in all. Still will be a ton of fun on PC after the modders get to it.

I wish they would have remade RDR instead.

AFAIK, traffic in missions is different than just running around in free-roam.

I will definitely be buying this, loved the it on my PS3. Just contemplating if I should transfer my save or start from scratch. Really hated some of those missions lol.

As someone who thinks GTAV on ps360 is already damn amazing, these small but nice visual updates to the fields (more grass, textures) and the water side (more rock detail) all seem rather simple but also impressive, just not as much as the original game running on 8 year old hardware like it does.

I'm interested.

Should have thrown fire at MS and announced GTA Collection with all the PS2 games with their PC level graphics, some extra textures(like the Xbox double pack had) and proper fucking controller support as well as GTA V. and GTA IV with console Icehance mod built in(a man can dream)

This is too much work and this will sell better.

In the GTA4 PC version there is a slider for traffic density. Maybe they will allow the same and hopefully also for the console versions.

After 85 hours in the online mode, I know the entire map like the back of my hand. It's going to make playing through the single player game so much different this time. No more looking at the GPS all the time.

I'll double-dip, mainly because of the upcoming SP DLC. I want to play that for the first time in the best way possible, not sure I'd bother if it wasn't coming. Hopefully it will be ready at launch and will be bundled in.

Noticed in the press release the video editor is returning in the PC version. However there is no mention of the custom radio station option (this existed on the PC and allowed you to play your own MP3's in game). I wonder if they have taken the custom radio station out in the PC version, it was a bit hit and miss in GTA 4.

The best part is not having played it on PS3/360 with inferior graphics so it will be completely fresh for me at 4K on PC.

Dat feel when your experience will be unmatched.
