That's insane! Still a stand up guy though. That paying for the surgery story is awesome. I feel bad for all the shit all I said about him during tonight's match.

Germany 3-0 and Portugal 2-0 would result in lots? Holy shit those scorelines aren't even that unrealistic. Although Portugal really seems to suck hard to think they could keep a clean sheet.

Its just percentage of said things ooccurring, idk why they would show it in such way when a pie chart would be more than enough.
This actually let you see different combinationa as goal average matters not onlyu the outcome of the match.

Again where do people get those from, is there a site?

"Ronaldo cut his hair to match the scar of a young fan who had surgery to remove a brain tumor last week"

Cristiano Ronaldo was asked to donate his cleats for a charity auction benefitting a 10-month-old child suffering from a brain disorder. The world’s top soccer player went a little further than that.

Ronaldo, the Real Madrid star who was Fifa’s Ballon d’Or winner as the world’s top player, will pay the full $83,000 cost of the surgery for young Erik Ortiz Cruz.

Erik suffers from cortical dysplasia, a condition that can lead to as many as 30 seizures a day. When the child came to Ronaldo’s attention, he offered to pay for the costly operation. In 2012, Ronaldo paid for cancer treatment for a nine-year-old and has been known to lend his time for other sick children.

I find it a bit funny how these types of posts come up in every thread where Ronaldo is being hated on. Is it supposed to sway opinions or something?

He is a whiny doucher on the pitch, so what if he is a good person off? You gotta separate the two. Most reasonable people don't hate Ronaldo the person off the pitch (who by all accounts is a decent guy), only the one on. Also there are many professional athletes who do the same for charity that Ronaldo does and don't get the publicity for it like Ronaldo does.

Yea i see why they would use this method, but it does seem like it will confuse some people when looking at it.

I'll laugh myself into a coma if Cameroon beat Brazil by a couple of goals and Mexico and Croatia draw.

Ain't gonna happen in a million years, though.

Yea i agree, but there are people out there who equate his on-field with his off-field. For example, i have a cousin who says he isnt a great person because of how he does not celebrate goals with his team, but instead takes it for himself.

Eduardo Eduardo Eduardo

for some reason, our stupid moron manager has a hard on for Rui Patricio (injured) and chose Beto today.

But Eduardo always has been solid for his national team.

Eduardo gave Portugal three clean sheets during the Group stage in 2010 and only conceded 1 lone goal to Spain in the KO phase

While Rui Patricio... pfffffffffff

Even if Camerun wins by one goal, Brazil would be eliminated in that scenario, but have you seen Camerun? Never gonna happen.

One day this great land of liberty will once again produce decent centerbacks. We might even eventually be blessed with a real left back.

Hey Germany, did you know there are 50 million people in the US who's primary ancestry is German? Now I'm not saying that should influence your actions in your next game... but it's something to think about.

FAKE EDIT: There are 7 times as many Irish people in the US as there are people in Ireland. I wonder if St.Patricks day have anything to do about that?

How come Portugal wasn't excited after the last sec score? Even Ronaldo was like meh.

yeah I guess it's a bit odd compared to american sports where our players will celebrate after a touchdown despite losing 35-6, or off a dunk down by 20 in the 4th.

It's gonna be a fucking tense game, i'm going to cry if Mexico loses tomorrow. We've had a good tournament but Croatia is such a puzzle, both of their games had many factors that make it hard to gauge their real level so far. Would be sad not to see Mexico go to the next round for the first time in decades.

I'm off to bed.
