Was Robben named after the car?

Still, I will not call this "thank you for making us dream" when is the same line that is used constantly after their repeat the same mistakes. Mexico had a good team this year but I dislike the overhype that the media here likes to do.

Until the 83 minute I dreamed of quarter finals, it had nothing to do with the media, their job is to sell teams as better than they are, but I dreamed because of what I saw when I watched the game.

What I don't like and it happens alot especially in American football is teams play prevent safe mode when having a lead. Some people may dislike teams pouring it on but in this case Mexico shoulda went into that mode.

Lol how much football do you watch? Because this is never used in practice ever.
Admittedly its not my number 1 sport. But I watch quite a bit.

And I know soccer rules are based on common law and subject to a kind of precedent. But the point is there aren't a whole lot of hard and fast rules in the game and people pretending like there are and trying to insult people who disagree is annoying.

And the post said intention didn't matter. That clearly doesn't jive with what's on FIFA's website

My mistake about the post. I didn't know about the North Sea floods. I was ignorant, and tried to make a joke about the salt and Robben's dive. Thanks for the insight!
Np buddy, it's all part of emotions. My mistake was also reply that way.

Robben is a diving asshole, that's a football fact- and he embellished that foul plenty, but when you stick your foot out in front of the attacking player's foot, way late on the ball, you're begging for a PK, simple as that.

You know who we beat in that world cup? Belgium 3-0!

Group 4
The United States dominated the fourth group. The American team, which contained a significant number of new caps, were reputedly nicknamed "the shot-putters" by an unnamed source in the French contingent.[2] They beat their first opponents, Belgium, 3–0. The ease of the victory was unexpected; Uruguayan newspaper Imparcial wrote that "the large score of the American victory has really surprised the experts".[38] Belgian reports bemoaned the state of the pitch and refereeing decisions, claiming that the second goal was offside.[38]

lol thats how Cotedviore lost Greece diving to steal game in injury time with a penalty.

Mexico just got Greeced lmao.

Not even close

The Greek penalty against Ivory Coast was quite clearly not a penalty, Samaras tripped himself up and was wrongly awarded the penalty that allowed Greece to scrape by. Robben's penalty on the other hand was clearly a penalty. Did he oversell it yes but it was still a penalty.

Oh gimme a break Herrera. Complaining not only about the penalty but saying the referee "put them against their own net"
Meh. After seeing it a quadrillion times we can agree it was a foul, bit harsh to give it a penalty, though not wrong. I would be thinking something very differently if I were the coach of a losing side after seeing it only from afar though.

I don't think "there was contact" is the bulletproof argument people think it is. There's a lot of uncalled contact in the box. I think that argument pretends there isn't some room for judgment when calling these fouls, particularly when the contact isn't heavy and Robben without the dive looks to have lost the ball anyway.

Bummer for Mexico. But still, the Mexican Goalkeeper is the coolest athlete of this World Cup. He NEEDS to be the protagonist of a Suda51 game.

Proença ref in the final?

This after our media jerking off to Proença, who is a piece of shit ref

Sorry mate, I'm Portuguese and Proença is far from a piece of shit ref. He gets a lot of shit here, sure, but that's because the average Benfica, Porto and Sporting fan really likes to bitch a lot.

How about a gif that doesn't cut out the actual foul? My god, the salt in here.

It's still not 100% conclusive in my opinion. Certainly close enough to be up for debate (especially calling it so late in the game) and there's no doubt he exaggerated the contact a lot.

It doesn't.

That's the equivalent of a law on the books in some country about being allowed to beat your wife every 3rd Wednesday aka not used and pointless.

So unless you want to go educate the referees you are wrong.

Yup, and Robben had been fouled before in the match, and in times when he wasn't he still tried to fake it, so Marquez shouldn't have fall in his plan, which was a not so crearly penalty but still was correctly called.
