What's funny is that when we got team alpha, the whole team would just run past A - not even bothering to cap it - just to take B and C first.

I'm not really sure how they could fix it for control without altering the geometry of the map.
There's the whole section behind C that'd be perfect for a spot.

Where B is is just dumb. Slide B into the alleyway across from where C currently is and things are just fine. B and C where they are now... you can completely lockdown all of C and one lane into B from a really, really small area (that window overlooking C from the 2nd floor).

Got my first 10+ streak on Mars there.

Unless they add something to this Beta, I think I'm completely done until launch.

I have:
- a Titan with 160 Defense
- all 5 gold chests and the gold Sparrow reward
- all the Iron Banner items I can get as a Rank 1
- all fully upgraded green gear with armor bonuses that suit my weapon choices
- completed all story on all difficulties
- completed Devil's Lair on level 8 10+ times in an attempt to get the Shingen-C AR
- about 50 Crucible Marks
- 570 Grimoire score (I know I could do more but ugh, grinding)
- all the ships and emblems I thought were cool enough to buy

The only thing I want but don't have is that Legendary ship from Iron Banner. Aside from that, the only thing that could get me to play again is the Moon part of the game. I'm addicted. The launch is too far away.

Was away until yesterday, so tried out the beta today and I am hooked. But boy did I get my but kicked in PVP. Am really going to enjoy the strike missions.

Roll a new class and do it all again.

wish that the destiny beta would be activated tuesday fror xbox one. what with the servers down for maintenance, at least we'd be able to get the download out of the way.

I feel the same. I played a ton of Alpha and now the Beta. Hunter is my class, I've tried the rest. Hopefully after maintenance, they will add that Moon mission.

This game is awesome. Just started playing the PS3 beta super early this morning, and that lasted for like 12 hours straight. The multiplayer is really fun and addictive, even though I suck at FPSs. I hope you can transfer progress to the full game, and from the PS3 beta to PS4 full game.

Also, this game is not as much like Borderlands as I was led to believe. It's also more fun, in my opinion, and I'm someone who loves the Borderlands games (in co-op, solo is hella boring).

Destiny has so much going for it already. I just wish I could afford a PS4, because it looks much, much better. Still, the PS3 version looks really damn good considering the scope of the game.

What I'm hoping for is after the mainteance they raise the level cap to 10 (so I can use my lv 10 blues) and open up the moon mission.

Same here. I'm sort of ducking out at this point to avoid getting burnt out, but I don't even know if that's possible since I've ran Devil's Lair like 20+ times between this and Alpha, and still enjoy the damn mesh-layer defense encounter.

Having a little trouble getting the sprint to work, works fine 9/10 times, but sometimes I click the stick and either nothing happens or my sprint comes out with some delay. Tried with my second DS4 and the same thing happens.

Anyone else getting this?

About that Intercepter...

Bungie, this is almost Scorpion on Hemorrhage levels of bad.

HAHA and when you get a second one for the double dip. OH LAWD

*Remembers the time when Devil's Lair gameplay video released on late April*

Yeah. Between this and the Alpha, I'm very close to burning out. I don't want to push it because I want to enjoy the beginning of the final game when it's out. Rerolling a character would just contribute to the exhaustion I'm feeling.

I'm having a great time with this beta, now I want my PS4 bundle.
I'm at level 8, how do you get the double shield/life bar?
Deathmatch is pretty hard without this upgrade, please help. Thanks!

Played around in this today with a friend who got a key for me. Solid game but nothing super interesting to me. Did all the story missions that are available and don't really feel like continuing play. Maybe MMOs just aren't my thing.

How do you actually GET Grimoire score and what does it do?

Achieving certain milestones (kill 100/500/1000 enemies), reviving dead ghosts, and finishing quests unlock Grimoire cards. These cards are viewable in Bungie.net or the phone app and contain snippets of lore. More cards unlocked results in a higher Grimoire score. Also, in the retail game the cards can be leveled up.

The Grimoire is a digital collection of cards with cool art on one side and lore text on the other side, which can be viewed on bungie.net or the Destiny companion app. You acquire these by reviving dead Ghosts, and completing gameplay milestones, such as killing a certain number of a certain type of enemy.

Is there a specific list that states what you have to do for them?

(Looking for a list of gameplay milestones)

Since Destiny is trying to be a MMO I wonder if they will sell a stone that allows you to get the stats of another gear but the look of a lower stat gear.

Weird, I just waltzed into the shop and picked up a Cydonia and a Slurpee. I thought that gun was supposed to be super rare?

I have a simple question that isn't answered in the OP.

Will my beta character be reset at launch? I played Alpha and don't want to replay to the cap again and then do it a third time at launch.

Got all the gold chests! And I got a gold speeder for my troubles.

I have to say, the pulse rifle is my least favorite. I hate that recoil.

I wouldn't count on progress carrying over. Keep yo expectations low.
