Honestly, the best part about destiny is that you can get good guns in single player. Nothing like being a shitty player and going in with shitty guns. I may be bad, but at least I have a fun green auto rifle with hip shot upgrade, an awesome sight, and armor to complement it. Plus a class ability that rewards head shot kills with faster reloads. It all makes learning the maps and strategies fun, and not a chore.

This is a good point. You don't have to grind through MP and lose match after match to unlock new gear. You can earn and level it up in PvE and, if you choose, go into PvP with it.

I agree.

People Dodge and kill my Warlock during its super all the time, might as well blast myself in the face

My teams have no problem controlling or capturing flag A

Haven't experienced the 6 v 4 yet

Only one interceptor in retail, any super or turret can destroy it

Hand Canons... I feel like is a waste unless you get a headshot

Auto Rifles are fine, my proof? . I get killed by other weapons all the time by people with more skill than me

Every match I played in Iron Banner was 6 vs 4. Me being on the side of 4 every-time. Though we did win once.

So does anyone know if co-op has more/harder enemies than singleplayer?

Think so. Went through the same missions several times to get my friends through story mode. I noticed that there were more wizards in some parts with 3 people than there was with 2.

Anyone know how the loot stats are generated in the game, do the guns have a specifc set of stats or does it have a RNG system like Diablo?

For MP, look's like loot is distributed randomly like Diablo 3... so it doesn't matter if you do better or not. So you still get loot for losing or is it for winning matches only?

What are "House Banners"? I got one from doing the Strike mission and all I could do was hand it to someone at the Tower and get 200 glimmer.

Attack stat is based on level. Other stats like impact and rate of fire are set to the gun's model. Not entirely sure how abilities are handled. Dunno if there are lists based on the specific model or gun type or what.

Base stats can change slightly for some items due to there being scopes etc that slightly alter the stats. I've only had this happen with a sniper rifle so far that I noticed(before being leveled up anyway), but the initially unlocked scope or whatever was different between them, and thus were stability and range.

Edit: I haven't seen weapons vary in attack stat if they're the same level. However, armor does have a range for its defense so that's worth noting I suppose.

I liked Marty in Halo, but honestly I don't care to much for the Destiny soundtrack so far. A couple I liked, like the one that plays when you're defending the array, but most of them I just don't care for. I mean I don't have a problem with them, they fit well. It's just that I don't find it that special overall.

Anyone experience lag like this?

Yeah, I've had that happen a few times. Along with it seeming like an enemy desynced as they kept running forward as I attacked them and did no damage.

I also had a really weird bug where the sound got all messed up. I could hear the crucible announcer and bullet fire, but footsteps and all other sound was gone, and it stayed that way throughout multiple games until I backed out.

I think the in orbit music is great. Most music for the most part outside of that has felt like white noise tho.

I had a sound glitch in PvE where it sounded like all effects were muffled, but voice-over was clear. If you played Reach, it sounded like I was in outer space in that game. Dying reset the sound and resolved the issue.

IcyFlamez96, whenever I see your user name I can't help but think of this:

On topic:

Maybe I'm just tired now, but have we heard Destiny's "theme song" yet?

The Halo games had this, but nothing in Destiny I've heard so far seems to stand out or reoccur in the game for me.

edit- found this on YouTube but I didn't hear this in the Alpha or Beta.

4. I know a lot of people who do well with higher sensitivities, but I'd rather have steady aim. There have been times where I wish I could spin around and run away faster though >.>

Yeah I think I'm on 5, but was thinking of trying lower. Now that I'm more aware of the radar it should minimize the need for high sensitivity.

Yeah you aren't alone. Especially what happened at the end of your video, that's happened to me before a couple of times. The first time it happened I sniped a guy with a headshot, guy still have perfect health then he sniped me and I died....couldn't believe it didn't kill him so I re-watched it to see if I missed. It was a picture perfect headshot on my screen, just didn't register.

There totally is a main theme, and it's not what you linked. In fact, I can't find it anywhere on YouTube. I am totally humming it right now. It's a heroic feeling melody usually played with trumpets. All over the beta

edit:
  • A firing range in the tower.

Yeah, I saw a bunch of videos on YouTube titled "Destiny Main Theme" but I'm pretty sure those aren't it. But if it was "all over the beta" I would have a better recollection of it. Maybe I'm just old.

What's the point of this type of response? Everything is perfect and the game should ship as is? It's not.
You want me to find faults I don't see
People complain about assault rifles in pvp
Are they in iron banner when complaining? . A perk for my rifle gets stronger as the # of bullets drop in the clip.
Iron Banner is about perks and stats

We talking bout crucible? . People beat my assault rifle all the time.

We are not talking about the gallehad anymore, that got nerfed, but this is how it starts, you nerf one thing, so people move onto scout rifles, then people complain about getting killed by scout rifles, that gets nerfed, so they move onto running strictly hand cannons, because that probably got buffed due to complaints, suddenly people start complaining about hand cannons need nerf, I see it in every cod game, you can't make everyone happy.

Was thinking about this the other day too. There are a few of them:

This whole piece, especially the motif at 3:46: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkNBJsx3WLs
The menu music's first movement: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRKfd5EKBtI
These 6 notes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeDaevD7cEo#t=6m55s
This track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znK9MhC7bvM

They're all around the same key and share similar instruments, but I'll say the first one is the main Destiny theme while the latter ones are variations on it for the slower moments in the story. Halo also did this.

My favorite is the 3rd one. Those piano notes... I cry every time.

Ok, that motif starting at 3:46 definitely sounds "Main Theme" to me. The horn is a reoccurring element. Halo's theme still strikes me as superior, but that may be because it's been around for years now.

Gonna sort out our clan tag displaying while you're at it? ;)

Have looked into it and still don't know what is going on with it :/

Will keep at it as it has been bugging the crap out of me.

EDIT: Well there is egg on my face. It should hopefully be fixed for when it comes back up.

Halo's main themes are definitely more iconic, but they've also been around for a while. Marty moved a bit closer to cinematic with Destiny and the themes haven't all been heard along with the story yet. It doesn't have an instantly identifiable theme yet, but it definitely has several recurring and stand-out motifs.

From what I've heard so far, I think it may top his ODST score.

Halo's music is more iconic, but it also feels very "gamey" at times. Marty moved a bit into cinematic with Destiny. It doesn't have an instantly identifiable theme (not yet at least), but it definitely has several recurring and stand-out motifs.

I agree. The Halo theme kicking in at the beginning of a huge firefight or vehicle section in the game felt like a perfect match between music and video game. So far, Destiny's music does seem more cinematic and less likely to complement a firefight in the game. Though the music that played in the mission where you were activating the relay and holding off the Hive horde that came in was awesome. That was a very "Halo" moment for me.
