He deserves to be innocent until proven guilty. Sara Wilson
The call for due process was a common one at the rally, and Sara Wilson (who is not related to Darren) said almost no one is seeking justice for Darren. Sara Wilson added that Darren had been crucified before the facts had come out.

It seems kind of one-sided. I mean the other sides already got him convicted and he hasnt had a say. Louie Puder
Many at the rally, including Puder, were frustrated by the media coverage of Browns death and the ensuing fallout. Puder said Brown may have been unarmed, but hes six foot four, 300 plus pounds, thats a pretty lethal weapon there.
Puder wore a blue shirt with a police-style logo printed on the front. It was common attire Sunday in St. Louis; the shirts were a fundraiser, and in the back of the bar near a pool table organizers Sunday were busy ironing logos on more shirts to meet high demand. Despite the ongoing DIY operation, the shirts still sold out, several attendees said.

Were out here to support Darren Wilson because he dont have a voice. Ed Chambers
Chambers and others at the rally said that Wilson had been driven into hiding by threats and fears for his safety. Hes in hiding and thats not right, Chambers said. Thats why were out here. Chambers also agreed with others at the rally who said Brown was the aggressor. Theres evidence showing that its more in support of the officer, he said.
The weird thing about this is you cannot presume innocence without presuming the other party's guilt. By supporting Wilson's innocence they are supporting Brown's guilt. Here's a thing with some of the pro-Wilson protesters explaining themselves:

I counted 11 shots. 5 shots after the pause (two were really close together). Dude who live tweeted the shooting counted 5 after Brown was surrendering.
Yup, that's what I heard as well.Sounds like 6 shots, 2 second pause, 1 shot, half second pause, 4 very quick shots.
I obviously super cynical about everything coming from that camp at this point but I can't be the only one that noticed that we heard nothing from anyone trying to explain what happened from the officers point of view until after the private autopsy report was in the media.Yes, and the evidence does support him.
I guessing though that his first few shots missed. That stopped Brown in his tracks and he turned around.
This audio would seem to confirm that more than 7 shots (6 that hit brown and one during the struggle in the car) were fired though.

Edit: Might have been six. I can't fully tell.
I only count 4 after the pause.
Now to tell you the truth I forgot myself in all this excitement.Edit: Might have been six. I can't fully tell.

Fucking.
Amazing.
All of those quotes are fucking Onion-level.
“He deserves to be innocent until proven guilty.” — Sara Wilson
He fucking killed someone. He's guilty of that. Regardless of the nature of the shooting, he fucking killed someone.
“It was derailed with race. Michael Brown could have been white. It didn’t matter, Darren Wilson was doing his job.” — Mary Kourik
He fucking killed someone. It doesn't matter what race. It shouldn't. His job is not to execute people whenever he feels like it.
“It seems kind of one-sided. I mean the other side’s already got him convicted and he hasn’t had a say.” — Louie Puder
I'm sounding like a broken record at this point.
“We’re out here to support Darren Wilson because he don’t have a voice.” — Ed Chambers
The only reason he doesn't have a voice is because he is in fucking hiding. It's not like he's dead. Why are you treating it like he is the one that got killed?
I think I might be hearing an echo for one.
The police department does seem to have a voice though. The only reason he doesn't have a voice is because he is in fucking hiding.

"Your client, having a 'video chat' with a friend, just doing normal, whatever you do..."
Like the dancing around what the guy's saying lol
''innocent until proven guilty''
oh, the irony
Wilson needs to be judged by twelve, Brown was carried by six.Innocent until proven guilty is something I always believe in and until Wilson is found guilty I won't presume anything. However, something tells me those people are being biased with their use of "innocent until proven guilty" and that's wrong.
It should always be the case. Not just when it suits your interests.

In fairness I will say that some people have already decided Wilson's shooting was unjustified and while it may look one way I don't think we should jump to conclusions until people who have access to all the evidence make a decision.
It was a good kill
Wow.
Its a good thing that guy on the audio was closer to the begging of his "conversation" rather than the ending. Of all the people, doing all the things someone could be doing, it had to be that guy at that moment, doing that.
Sometimes life is more bizarre than any script ever written.
The police department does seem to have a voice though.

That's like 13-14 shots.

Michael Brown's father at his funeral
...
How can someone as a father donate to a man for killing another mans son? People protesting for Darren Wilson are so inhumane..
Heartwrenching. I can't imagine how he must feel. Does anyone know why the media were present at such a private and intimate affair like a funeral?
That's so sadwhy would somebody even take pictures at a funeral?
that picture is so brutal :\
the sorrow and the helplessness and the rage of having your son taken from you like that.
it wasn't private. The whole public was invited. Supporters and anyone else. They put the protest on hold for the memorial service.
everything else has been so public, the world can see this too.
Who invited them, the Brown family?
His expressions just pains me in the saddest way. ;w;![]()

It was a public funeral, they didn't need to be invited. Anyone could have shown up.
Is this a common thing in the US? I can't imagine going to such an event, let alone attending it for my son.
What are the odds on if Wilson gets indicted and especially if found guilty those pro-Wilson people will continue to claim he's innocent but was if "victim" of political pressure?

that audio...god
yeah that doesn't sound like a close range scuffle over a firearm, with 5-6 shots being fired immediately. That was the original story.
Then you have Micheal superman punching Officer Wilson through his car window like Goku and running off.
so now what do the friends of Officer Wilson have to say, I wonder?
