Why do people like Bill shit on Rap but at the same time celebrate The Godfather, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad....etc.

Gangstament isn't endemic to rap music....

A simple explanation for Bill's preference for one over another would be to look at the skin color of the characters and rappers in question.

Oh Bill O'Reilly...the same guy who went in a black owned restaurant, and stated how very surprised he was that blacks there was civilized and professional (actually he said he was surprised blacks wasn't saying "give me my mutha f*ckin Ice tea....and the blacks there was a calm and friendly as a Italian restaurant"). That Bill O'Reilly.

No the puncture thing is a better idea. There is no way you can miss it unless you're Mr. Magoo. He died in the street not on the sidewalk.

I don't think it's unreasonable to move the memorial 20 feet. Yes, he died in the street, but so do many other people for various reasons (gun violence, car accidents, heart attacks) and most of those memorials are set off the actual street. In fact, I've never actually seen one in the street before . . .

Be that as it may, THIS memorial is where the community wants it and considering the significance of the events surrounding it I don't think it's too much to ask for people to turn their steering wheel a little bit.

Even when the dude got fired the Chief gotta make it clear that there was some crucial footage missing from the video that justifies this, theres always some missing footage.
Which is why we can't make police lose their privacy by putting cameras on them. That's government going too far, practically a police state for officers.

St. Louis Post-Dispatch seeks juvenile court records

In response to a number of inquiries today, I wanted to confirm that the Post-Dispatch filed a petition last week with the St. Louis County Family Court seeking the release of any juvenile court records it may have relating to Michael Brown.

The court filing is just one avenue of many in our continuing commitment to cover a significant news story for our community.

We have taken this action as a professional news organization, independently and not in conjunction with any other organization, as we seek to report facts and not rely on innuendo or speculation.

uh huh

officer go fuck yourself said someone drew a gun on him. So why do we not have a perp and a gun in police custody? Hell, even the chief repeated that. I mean the bullshit here is miles deep. Unarmed kid gets shot, protesters are pointing guns at officers who then pull their own guns, and all we get out of that is video of a batshit policeman? I swear to god if I had any authority, these people would be waking up in cold sweats.

Not to mention the community throwing urine like the baboons the PD surely think they are, a fact that no news media and official has reported until now.

OKC's police chief endorsed lapel cameras and more diversity in hiring practices, and even admitted that some officers are racially biased.

Very cool. Hopefully it becomes reality and not just talk.

A juvie history is one of the two rumors that I've heard from an ex stl metro cop that I work with. The other is similarly inflammatory hence why I haven't mentioned these in this thread, that and you have to be skeptical about police bar talk. You can guess his perspective on all of this. I did not hear of specific julie offenses, so who know this could be nothing, something mundane like truancy or something else that may be relevant to this event.

well his parents already said they had to keep on him to not skip school so he could keep his grades up. So truancy might be there, and not a great surprise. But dirt-digging is dirt-digging.

I just know how terrible and absent minded a lot of drivers can be. It just isn't surprising to me that the memorial would get nicked by a car every few days.

So what? People have died on the street before and the memorials in Brooklyn are on the sidewalk. It's dumb to have it in the middle of the street. People do like to come by and pay their respects but they would have to block incoming traffic to do it :|

Patriotism isn't blindly following the decisions of your leaders. Loving your country means taking it to task when it's not living up to its ideals.

If that's where the community wants it that's where they want it. Who cares what they do in Brooklyn? I know it's hard to turn your steering wheel, but if you try hard I'm sure you can do it.

I heard protesters plan to block a freeway on Labor Day. I hope it was done false story because I can forsee nothing good coming from that.

I saw this earlier before Shaun King got word of it. I hope it's not real.

It probably is. Ferguson is now a hotbed for sick racists. Of course they're cowardly and do things like run over memorials and drop things off in people's yards in secret.
