Welp, I know what I am going to do at level 15 :P

Had a blast playing with my friend and a random yesterday.

still working up levels. and looking for a weapon that clicks. Chose a titan to emulate Halo but so far the lack of "ompf" of my characters stats and weapons mean solo play is a bit of a bore.

it's sort of a good thing the campaign is shit because it feels the game starts when you're at 20 and actively engage with its challenges.

A good story would have been wasted by the urge to level up/ acquire gear anyways...

I feel like playing Secret of Mana X Halo.

added a few guys too. will keep at it tonight.
for those lloking for a friend. PSN : feronantus. Playing from France.

I went back and fought the first devil walker, now that I'm level 21...

Was dealing out 1200 damage with my sniper, over 2200 when he was exposed. Bullet sponge no more.

GraveRobber, where are you grinding for metal? I only have like 25

After a 6 hour binge, I've decided playing Strikes with two other people in a party are the most fun i have had. The coordination and being able to talk to others easily made the game more enjoyable. Also, the story missions are ass, even with others.

I'm really enjoying the balance changes. I'm sure some will make an argument for a particular weapon class being OP, but I've personally been cycling through scouts, autos, and hand cannons and can't really settle on just one. Pulse rifles also feel improved, but I can't say that I've gotten one yet that has really clicked with me whereas most of the pickups I've had of the other three have been incredibly fun/satisfying.

Concerning secondary weapons, I'm still not a big fan of fusion rifles. Despite my intention to hold off until endgame, I found myself playing a few matches of Crucible. I was getting wrecked by fusions so they're clearly a viable weapon, but again they just don't feel satisfying to use in my opinion.

i played my first PvP match since the beta

dat Shingen-C

I thought the Shingen still felt like an anomaly. It's the only thing in the entire game so far I would actually like to see a balance patch for. (nerf its stability) Don't get me wrong, it's fun to use and will likely get pushed to the back of the line when exotics start becoming the norm, but it just doesn't fit the profile of what I expect an auto rifle to feel like.

I kept getting kicked out both the tower and pvp yesterday, even though regular coop (both missions and strikes) worked just fine. Anyone else have the same problem?

were you expecting somthing along the lines of this?

to me the auto rifle feels like what its supposed to be, an assault rifle, but this is just what i think.

How's the Shingen compared to the Cydonia AR3?

Have used both. They're both pretty competent guns, both are accurate enough to get consistent headshots, shingen shoots faster, has a bigger clip, does less damage. Cydonia does more damage, has a lower clip, shoots slower. They're effectively the same(in the beta the Shingen had more of a clip size to push it over the edge).

hmmm, not sure i have come across one of those yet. ill let ya know if i do and will compare

I don't have either gun yet but I noticed the weapons vendor selling the Shingen last night. The Cydonia is being used by at least 50% of people I've come across in PVP

Cool, thanks for the info.

To me, the Shingen feels like it offers much higher DPS while being more accurate. Could've been placebo, but I had that opinion during the beta and that hasn't changed now.

Can anyone explains the point in clans ?

I thought it would show the connected players in game, like in every other MMO but it doesn't. Nobody gives a shit about a 3 letters tag, we want practicality. Do I seriously need to have everyone on my friend list ?
Yep. BUNGIE has to fix like millions of things for Destiny so I could say it would be an 8/10.

A 7/10 for Destiny right now is really generous.

i was expecting a a bigger nerf for the shingen, but i guess not this time around

I liked them both during the beta, but I think it's just a placebo effect from the faster fire rate, as you say. I got by just fine with my Cydonia, it does significantly higher damage per shot which balances out the fire rate. All guns(of the same level/rarity) technically have the same exact dps, so it's more about accuracy and kills per clip.

Didn't get to play yesterday. Was too focused on a project after work. Hopefully I can get back to it today. My question is how and why is it that only certain individuals have a clan name next to their name in the roster? I'm Destiny Gaf but it doesn't show up next to my name.

Anyone else having problems with Bungie.net account linking?

I created an account in the Bungie App with my Facebook account only to realize that none of my game data was linked, and since there wasn't an option to link a PSN account, I logged out and created another account with my PSN account.

Now my PSN account and Facebook account are linked to two separate Bungie.net accounts. When I try to link one to the other, it says that they are already linked to a Bungie account and must first be unlinked.

No problem, since there's an "Unlink account" button in the account settings page, right?

The problem is, when you click it, it says you can't unlink an account you're logged in to the website as, and that you have to log out in order to unlink them...

Which is impossible because you can't access the account settings if you're not logged in.

Anyone else find themselves with this problem, and is there a solution?

Does anyone else get put off PvP because of the low call of duty like health levels? everything seems to kill super quick and I dislike that, and it's a huge contrast going between tough PvE to super quick kill PvP

First Light is still :( annoying map

Ok, so I do have a major gripe with the game. I can see why story missions and strikes would be limited to three players per fireteam, (balancing) but why the heck is patrol limited to 3? I see no reason why they shouldn't be 6 players.
