Ugh. It just feels so slow going to get Ultras, then when I get to Legendary tier, get Epic Tier KoTR, then Legendary ++, finally legends KoTR.
Man this is gonna take longer than I thought lol.
Maybe I'll get lucky and get rank 1 in the People's Champion. XD

My KotR is going much better this time and SHOULD be a 2nd or 1st place finish this time. The only one I've faced so far that has a shot at beating me with full energy and full boosts is currently #3, while I'm at #2. I have only lost twice, both of which were overnight when they had significantly higher stamina than me, so I'm not too worried. I should definitely be able to get back to #1, as the guy who is currently #1 has significantly worse cards than me (unless he gets super lucky), but I'll pop all my boosts just in case since I play more than enough exhibition to get them back. I ended up using the legendary Kane I got for losing the last KotR as my tag partner for my epic pro Rey. What really gets me, though, is that in exhibition when there's like a 50/50 chance of me winning (basically whether I choose my pro legendary on the same turn that the computer does or not... if I use my pro legendary on the turn that they do the same I would win, but I would lose otherwise because their diva beats mine as the tiebreaker match), I lose like 75% of the time. Somehow I very often waste my pro legendary against one of the computer's worst cards that I could have easily beaten with any other card and then get destroyed by their pro legendary on the turn afterward or vice versa.
It kind of sucks to have to be #1 though, constant pressure of having to fill up that Energy again. And yeah the card picking is just dumb. Might aswell get the most overall stat cards rather than balance things out.

I still have no idea how people's champion is supposed to work or what the prizes are. I guess I'll just see tomorrow.
Edit: Having to be #1 isn't that bad. I've finished #1 going into the brackets every single KotR in which I've participated.

There's a timespan where you need to earn as many points as possible through playing matches. Easier matches earn you less points than the harder ones. At the end of the event, whichever side has more total points "wins" and, depending where you are on the ranking board, you earn the rewards of the winning side. So if Cena wins but you were on the Lesnar side, you would get Cena cards based on your final rank.
To have a chance at the highest prize tiers you pretty much have to play non-stop the whole time. Highest I ever got in one of these kinds of games was Top 50 in the Transformers CCG out of like 20000 or something. That was back when I was still looking for work and had nothing else to really do, lol.

In Brave Frontier, I made it to top 2 once in one of the special events. (Not Frontier Hunter though) and it took quite a few gems.
And since I'm doing a free to play playthrough here, I don't know if it's even possible for me to even get one of the diamond legendary Lesnar/Cenas. I hope to get into the top 400 at the least or top 65. Top 65 I'll be a very happy man.
In my experience with these kind of events though, there are MANY crazy people out there who can do this type of crap for hours on end with hardly much rest. But I guess we will see. XD
Does anybody know how long the event lasts? Also do we still get energy cards in the picks? Only because I'm also doing a KoTR at the moment.

I just got a pair of Epic Undertakers. Was hoping for a diva like you, but I'll take 'Taker.
You'll still get energy cards. Basically, the board is the same has Exhibition, but instead of Boosts resetting the board, the Title Card boosts (point multiplier) will reset the board.
Interesting. Do we still get the regular boost cards ALONG with the Title Card boosts (only as you said, title cards reset the board)?
I might actually go with team Cena just because I already have two good UP alignments. But Lesnar's card looks SO COOL!

I wonder if the matches will also count towards the Exhibition total for the ladder rewards.

Finally got into Epic tier KotR. I actually think I'm going to not bother playing for a week or two, and just enter the KotR to grab the free UR cards for being dead last. Hopefully hit a Shawn or Naomi or Andre to pair with my existing UR singles.
Got into the finals of the last four UR KotR and need to finish getting my first few pros to the max level. But tires of managing that for now.
Is a full max pro UR team good enough to potentially win an epic KotR?

And this is why the event is pretty pointless. I think there should just be a tier that they setup instead of a competition. Basically if you over 1000 points in that span (1 point for a win, -1 point for a loss), you get a legendary, maybe 1500 for a legendary pair. I think that's decently reasonable.
Edit:
It definitely is. Just make sure you enter with the bar filled on Epic as low as possible through either having a really low bench, low pro cards that you'll level after the KotR starts, or preferably a combination of both.

So the last update introduced a bug where you can't deselect a support card after you tap it. You can switch to the other one, but you can't deselect either of them. So tap carefully. :/

Edit: Unfortunately, I had a maxed out pro rare Paige that I posted the stats for on a different spreadsheet, but the post and info got deleted apparently. Of course, I already used that Paige to level another card, so I guess we'll have to wait a while for that to be available again. At least I got the max pro SR Paige info, which I saved as a screenshot and input as comments on the spreadsheet to which you guys linked.

Well here we go again... looks like the only guy who can beat me is going to end up facing me in the second round most likely and with my AWFUL luck, I'll lose every 50/50 matchup. At least this time I might get an epic support card out of it. This is just so incredibly frustrating.

So there's only going to be one pro legendary Lesnar or Cena? That's going to be pretty annoying. I wonder if they'll ever go back and adjust existing cards or if we'll only get adjustments through these special editions.
Edit: Well at least there's good news. I'll face the current #2 and #4 players in 2 of the last 3 matches of the qualifying rounds, for which I should be wide awake. That means that if it's close, I should be able to either swing myself into second place if it looks like the current #4 (the only one who can beat me unless somebody's been hiding their good cards in their bench) will finish 4th or 5th (making him/her a potential second round opponent) or adjust their positions by either boosting or intentionally losing to ensure that I avoid the best one until the finals.

Yep, these events are most likely going to offer exclusive cards that can only be earned during that particular time.
You learn to get over it pretty quickly. In other games, a lot of people pretty much only really really try hard for events that have cards they're really interested in (not necessarily due to stats either, but if they really like the character/person).
I'll admit, if we get an event for exclusive Stone Cold or CM Punk cards, Nothing will stop me from getting those babies! XD

Yeah it's fine to have KotR take a while since if we lose, we can try again right away, which means nobody has any reason to go crazy with micro management. One alternative could be to have a 12 hour cooldown on matches so that nobody has to worry about losing sleep in order to keep up. Then have that go on for a few weeks. It rewards the dedicated without encouraging botting or insanity.
Just when I'm ready to quit this game I win a pair of UR Nikki Bella's in KOTR and I have new life.
Also, is it just me or did you use to be able to cancel your power-ups after selecting it during an exhibition match and now you cant?
Also also, can you get any of the ladder rewards cards from exhibition/KOTR? Part of me wants to just feed them to other cards but the collector in me wants to keep them in my deck if they're really one time only cards.

The people's champ mode looks like the "rivals clash" mode in the NBA mobile app, you going to have to treat this game like a job to get a double epic.
Even classifying it as a "job on overtime" would be an understatement.
