Its bad enough that I get invite messages on both my nexus 7 and iphone before i get them on my playstation, its weird.
 
Hi all. I'm a level 23 Titan and need some PSN friends for weekly heroic and for the raid once I Ievel up. Any body want to add me I added a few gaffers from other threads but don't seem to ever see many of them online at the same times. PSN name is dancmc
 
I'm going to spend my motes of light with the Speaker, instead of playing the RNG game with Rahool. Don't want to spend a lot with a high probability of getting something I can't even equip.

Hahaha it's so weird seeing random players when you start the raid. A level 21 guy ran in last time we played and just disappeared off into the VoG never to be seen again.

I haven't noticed anything different. It's probably just that everyone is ignoring it after the patch changes. The Queen's emissary has to be the loneliest NPC at the Tower. Sad really.
 
Tfw you've still haven't got any legendary/exotic anything after having and playing the game for like two weeks. I think I'm done with this game haha..

Thanks very much. I'll probably do the shotgun (even if it does get nerfed) and then hope that eventually I'll get the fusion rifle bounty.
 
Still torn on whether or not to upgrade the Suros. I already have an exotic scout rifle, don't need another I one. But the extra damage and perks past the ADS upgrade are enticing.

Damn it Bungie, why can't you make this upgrade be toggled off and on?

  • Destiny is a story about growing up with xenophobic/racist parents.
  • Ghost and Speaker are Mum and Dad.
  • They hate "the Darkness" (non whites).
  • They pass that hate onto you and teach you it has to be this way even though you don't know why.
  • Robo-Stranger is like your racist aunt who won't give you an explanation on why you have to hate "the darkness" because there is no time.
  • You learn to just hate "the darkness" and goa round beating and killing all the races that aren't guardians like you.
  • Thus the cycle of xenophobia/racism carries on and when you are a speaker or ghost you will teach it to your kids and never explain why "the darkness" is bad and how they are stealing your jobs.
 
If I start a queen mission, can someone join my fire team and do the mission with rewards etc for free(ie not having their own mission thing in the inventory)?

I didn't realize we took him down that quickly. I wish I had saved my perspective so I could have showed off my legit Relic skills. The Centurion feared me I could feel it.

I'm in the same boat. I really don't want to do it and regret it, but all those other upgrades past it are so sweet. Why couldn't the slow fire rate upgrade have been the last one? :(

I might do it cause I tend to lean towards headshots. I love hand cannons and I used scout rifles in the beta. A slightly faster, full auto scout rifle sounds pretty good to me.

I really want to blame Bungie for all of this, but it turned out to be Rare.

You won't get a reward without a ticket.
 
the more i think about it, the more SUROS looks like it belongs in a different game. Or rather, I wish the bulk of the weapons shared the futuristic look of the SUROS regime and calcutta sniper. Most of them are lying around the tower but all we end up with are weird blue and orange ones. My Hieracon is awesome, but it looks like something I'd find at Toys R Us
 
Is the Supremacy sniper from queens mission specific to a mission? I've been doing the earth mission for the queen with no luck yet

That's all I did and I got it from that. I've got like 6 more tokens but there is no point doing them any more. I got the sniper, I got hat and coat with stat combos I like. I don't really want the ship and the equips no longer break down into useful stuff so there is no point for me to do them.

Next week all held pruples become blues so you might as well use any purples up unless you just want blues.

Doesn't seem like it. I've done a few missions and got the helm like 5 or 6 times. I only want the sniper. The one I have is still rare. :/

Congrats on killing Atheon! And no need to thank me, I was just passing on useful info I learned from the team I beat the raid with.
 
I suppose it's normal for stock Exotic armour to have less Light level than upgraded Legendary armour? For some reason I assumed it would start higher.
