A Dubious Task is relatively easy to complete compared to the other two. The weapon it gives is really nice too.

I am wearing that too. It definitley has no impact in the outcome of how many shards dismantling gives. Your four shards must have been because you had already upgraded the items.Just recycled The Comedian and my secondary purple Scout Rifle (don't recall the name). They were all the way levelled bar putting the ass in them. Got 4 ass energy each when I was expecting the usual 2 or 3 - so having them levelled gives a chance at four? Or only other thing I can think of is new Warlock Bond I have on Fragment of the Prime that came from a Raid chest.

Nowhere even close to bored of this game.
Running missions with friends, pvp, solo 28 heroic missions. The combat is so good that all the shortcomings just don't bother me.
Now I'm taking the time to appreciate everything. I'm studying every corner of every map, appreciating all the little details the designers have put it in. I've said it before, but the environment design in this game is a master class. If they take the shackles of last gen off for this next instalment the potential is incredible.
