In PVP it suppresses everything I think, including your jump ability. Players affected get that same red blur over their heads that people get from flashbangs or getting marked by oracles.

I've yet to try it on people with a super like Golden Gun active, I wonder if they can't use it. Someone like Datto should do a video on it.

I'm gonna give it a real test later today and write down some of my results. I'll post here when I have some facts. :)

I just did my tenth (or more) Queens Mission and I finally got something that wasn't the helm, the chest piece.

I already have a Legendary sniper rifle so fuck going back in for a chance at that.

I just hit this today, and it didn't seem to do anything?

Did a quick search and someone on another site mentioned that they mentioned that during the beta they got some spin metal for completing a patrol, but has never received any in the final game. So I'm not sure what there is to increase? LOL if it means nothing.
 
Are there two guardians on ps4 willing to help me complete my thorn bounty please?

Six hours isn't good enough to look like an attempt at this horse shit? The raid's design is amateur game design at its finest, on top of it being an incoherent glitch fest.

Been using the Shadow Price for a day now, really good and cutting down enemies plus the recoil is barely there. Only thing is you seem to reload alot due to the rate of fire.
 
So guys, what's the fastest way to level a new character? Really don't want to deal with all the story missions again, but it seems they're kinda obligatory if you want to unlock everything (strikes etc)?
 
Unlocked Unbreakable last night for my Titan Defender. Not had time to look at it yet – the Force Barrier effect normally lasts for around 10-15 seconds or so, so does it just last indefinitely until you die if you’re using Unbreakable?

Using the right strategy you can defeat it easily.

This I am afraid of. The Galahad has a low rate of fire which I like.

Any experience with the legendary pulse rifles?

no,honestly, six hours is not a lot of time for content you have a whole week of time for.
six hours to beat what is supposed to be a raid akin to MMO raids is not a lot of time invested, really.

I'm sorry you guys didn't beat it yet, but getting mad at video games for not letting you beat them easily is....well I am smiling a bit.

Do story missions on hard until you unlock level 4. You can then to bounties which net you the most XP in the shortest time.

After a few levels play some more missions on the harder difficulty for bonus XP.

Rinse and repeat.

Took me 8.5 hours to level my second character to level 23 using the above method.

It can be glitchy, but it is supposed to take a long time when you're learning it for the first time.

As long as you have a good start and can keep consistent you will beat it.

Has anyone attempted, or succeeded, in solo-ing the Xyor Strike for Thorn?

I'm just into Level 27, and have yet to give it a good go. I poked my head in at Level 25, but without paying attention to elemental damage. If you cheese the boss room, and avoid the Spinning-Top of Death, will he spawn if I can whittle down enough adds, or are the waves of adds tied to Phogoth's health? I'm better equiped in terms of weapons now, so elemental shields shouldn't be a problem.

Oh yea sweet dunno how I missed that. Gun seems to be taking ages to upgrade though. Nearly unlocked Perfect Balance but I'll probably go with Hammer Forged once I get that unlocked.
 
Wow. So there is not matchmaking for daily heroics. I just fired up the game on a whim and was immediately reminded of how awful it is in so many respects.

As long as you clear adds enough to spawn the third dropship which carries Xyor then you can cheese it all you want. You don't need to damage the boss.

I got The Conduit which is pretty good but I'm preferring the Shadow Price since its a full auto. The Conduit is burst fire and has low impact but it's still a great gun.

Not sure if you can buy either you will need to check out vendors since I got them both from engrams.

Sweet,I may try it solo ,stubbornly, later. I don't think Thorn will replace Suros, but I want to free up the Bounty spot, and Exotics aren't exactly plentiful.
