Ah, I see. Thanks.

Also, I redeemed the Red Sparrow code a while back, but because I only got it after I already started the game, my first character never got it. I'm with my second character now, where do I go to pick up thte skin?

Special Orders, right next to the Postmaster

I don't think so. There's no level requirement for it, just the basic strike. Would be glad for the help. :)

Edit: oh, it's a new epic version of the strike. Level 26. I reckon you should be fine if you have decent weapons.

Sweet, my headset is charging so I wont be able to chat. Is that ok?

No. Normally force barrier depletes as you take damage. What that ability does is regenerate your force barrier to full for the short time the barrier lasts, meaning you can absorb and dole out more melee damage. Your force barrier, which would otherwise stay at half strength if damaged, will regenerate back to full allowing you to reabsorb that extra bit of damage for a short duration.

The wording confused me a bit at first too.

Normally, when you take damage with Force Barrier activated, it drains the over-shield and you could be running around with 10% over-shield for the duration of the barrier time limit.

With Unbreakable activated, if you took damage to your Force Barrier, it'll continually recharge itself back to 100% strength until the duration of Force Barrier ends. So if you just had it activated from a melee, and then got into a gunfight that took you barrier down to 25% strength, after a couple seconds of you being out of danger your shield will recharge back to 100%.

That is why I love the No Backup Plans exotic gauntlets because it further extends the duration of Force Barrier by I believe 5 seconds, totally about 20 seconds if you took all the correct skill evolutions. And if you have 100% melee cool down, the cool down is around 30 seconds or so. You could be running around almost in full barrier for 75% of the time.

Aaaah, I see.

Cool thanks, guys.

This I am afraid of. The Galahad has a low rate of fire which I like.

Any experience with the legendary pulse rifles?

Bad Seed Down is an amazing legendary pulse rifle, it's my main weapon in PvE, though for crowd control I switch over to the Suros. I cannot wait until I get the big daddy pulse rifle of them all, the Red Death.

Posting again on new page. Anyone?

What's everyone's preference when it comes to grenades? I have the void walker one where it breaks up into a number of pieces. It works great in pve because it covers a good amount of area on impact, but then I get into pvp and it's a purple shower that has to hit you square in the face to kill you.

I must have hit the jackpot. Got a Purple engram from the Crucible, opened it and it was a Legendary weapon. Ended up getting the Super Pox VLO Pulse Rifle.
After a lot of playing I got a blue engram from the message center and it decoded into another Legendary, the Grim Citizen III Auto Rifle.

Not a bad haul. Rahool is giftin' right now.

is there any trick to getting engram drops in crucible or is it just random? I'm lvl 20 if that makes any difference

Wouldn't it be great if it was tied to particular medals(or whatever those are called)? Get a triple kill and you get a legendary engram or something.

I got a few legendary engrams (got 2 legendary out of them and 1 blue) from the new loot cave. It works really well but Tuesday it's getting nerfed.

Never heard of it - just checked it out - amazing!

Grenades, apart from the hunters sticky ones, seem mostly like pot luck for me in pvp. The titan electric ones are useless. I use the flashbang ones, dazing people works in pvp. But not for the damage.

For me the regular vortex grenades are the best, I love the fact that they continue to do damage over time. Same for the sunsinger, I stick to the solar grenades as well and I get a lot of post mortem kills in pvp.

Electric does wonders in Control for Postmortem medal bounties. If you took the shields down, that grenade (with the aftermath perk) will easily kill careless people who stay close. And many do.

Sticky grenades all the way!

I tend to use the Voidwalker bolt seekers in PvP. They are pretty decent as they can get me the kill even if the other guy is running away. But I've never had a grenade that gave me a OHK. But I've been OHK'd plenty of times by grenades. This confuses me a lot :(

Tend to use the lingering effect grenades in PvE as I think these are the best for crowd control.

This been posted numerous times already?

Oh also had one of the toughest vanguard strike missions kast night. Had one person bail out halfway on the vanguard tiger so it was just me and someone else trying to complete it.

After 90 mins we manage to do it! One of my best experiences I have had in playing this game and also the toughest

Using this for PvE due the lack of a good AR but i'm liking it so far, dropped from the Vault (last boss)

It has full auto mode, 99% stability with an upgrade or more bullets if you want and Zen Moment for even more stability when hitting a target. Also awesome fire damage!

Anyone up for nightfall before the reset? Lvl 27 Hunter PS4 Australia, mavisSC

Was a gnats fart away from soloing it, but now just want to get it done before the reset.

"It's not that great."

"When upgraded it can be devastating."

:p

I have it half upgraded and I think it's a beast. The real kick is that it uses primary ammo and you can carry two shotguns.
Seemed liked a shitty gun in PVE so I didn't upgrade it, I threw it in my vault, hoping they'll buff it. I was honestly going to scrap it.

I'm so doing this.

It is awesome because he supermans it and it looks cool. But just to let people know warlocks and titans can easily make it without the super. Get a running start and pulse your jump as you fall, on and off and you can clear the gap easily. You get roughly 3 activations of your jump ability before it stops working. So fall with style :D.

FINALLY level 27 haha, I feel like I'm way behind everyone.

Don't think I can go any higher without upgrading my gear (need shards) and getting new raid gear. Now to find a competent 6 man team.... now that's the REAL challenge.
