They aren't guaranteed. I've gotten two blue engrams in the mail more often than I've gotten a legendary.

That's for sure. I used to get legendaries when I got him to around level 22 with some regularity. Then when I got him to 30, I got nothing but a pair of blues every level until around level 38 or so. Was shocked to get a legendary in the mail package a couple of times since...but still the pair of blues seems to dominate.

In the morning I will cash in some blues and get him past 45. Hopefully the patch will make him more generous with the packages.

Just farm public events on Earth. You get around 24 marks an hour if you hit all the events within that time.

Can the Titan's fist of havoc shockwave instant kill people in pvp? I've always used aftermath and haven't really tried shockwave.

Its not an instant kill. I think there are two shockwaves, one will take a person to critical health and the second will finish them.

Once I dismantle 7 more rifles, I'll grind this part out. I think I'll kill all the trash mobs at the beginning, die, then repeat. Can anyone who completed this confirm that deaths don't subtract from your progress?

Do the moon strike on level 12 difficulty and it's about 10 minutes. And pace yourself. Do about 4-5 a day and you'll be done on Friday in time for Xur's part in that bounty.

Yep and its not just 200 kills. Its 200 kills with a fusion rifle. Its not that bad but its pretty time consuming.

If you grind for it you'll go crazy and want to kill yourself. Just keep it in the bounty slot and you'll complete it eventually while you do other bounty grinds or vanguard mark grinding the strike playlist. It might take a week but it's better than hating yourself for a day while you do strikes over and over and over in swift succession.

Seems like the easiest way to get it done.

I think I've gotten 2 blues once. Most times I've gotten one or two legendaries. I'd guess I'm more likely to get a legendary in the mail than to get one from decrypting a purple pre-patch.

My MIDA multi-tool is fully upgraded, crits enemies of the same level (28) for 575 damage, and body shots are 192 damage.

Weapon stats:

A level 26 Pretorian is what you see in the raid and what guards the entrance. So she probably aggravated it somehow lol They are very aggressive (obviously)

Just playing normally and hoping for engrams or to find one in a chest. Also, I'm slowly earning more glimmer so I can buy them from the gunsmith when he has them back in stock. I have around 12k now, but I figure if a blue fusion rifle from the gunsmith is roughly 2000-2100, I need a couple thousand more if I want to buy seven.

Haha, I'm in the same boat with fusion rifles. 9 more to go.

I have some level 20 fusion rifles stored away with different damage types just in case they're needed for raiding. Really don't want to dismantle those.

Going to be checking the gunsmith in a couple of hours when he refreshes. Fingers crossed.

Seems like they've bungie'd the summoning pits. I was doing the vanguard strikes earlier today and ended up with just one other guy and we were both lvl18. Since I wan't sure how it might go I stayed at the doorway and sure enough the other guy rushed in, released Phogoth and died. The shrieker popped up so I ducked back into the next room, thinking I'd wait till he revived. After a few seconds got the darkness has consumed you screen. Luckily it went better the next time, but be warned, wanting to cheese this one might not go as planned.

They should have matchmaking for everything. If they make content that is so difficult it requires coordination you will start to get people who will only try it when they know what they're getting into (of course you will also get griefers). I get what their intent was, but they should rethink that decision.

You can cheese this level. Beat it solo a while ago, when the shrieker appears you can even go back further, wait for it to disappear and attack Phogoth again...rinse repeat.

The Guardian with the highest level carries it. If two players are both the highest, whoever has the most Light carries it.

That's what I did. I got ~50 kills per go. If you don't have a solar fusion rifle you're gonna have a bad time though.

Tomorrow is a new nightfall, so solar burn might not be the modifier again. I hope it is solar again, or arc. I don't have a void fusion rifle.

Whew! 25 Strikes for Bad Juju down. I used the level 22 weekly for the double contribution. Stabilised at around 8 and a half minutes per run. A bonus was I knocked out a bunch of the Queen bounties during the fallen bit at the beginning.
