Monster Musuko, with character designs by Takako Shimura.

It's about a gooboy who pretends to be a googirl.
Technically all tentacle hentai feature monster guys.
This is not only sexist, but also inaccurate, as egg-laying is a common theme in those kinds of stories.

And guys don't lay no eggs, no sirree.

Oh man, I remember Kamisama.

I thought it would be good but it was just boring.

Gundam SEED 3
So he rewrites the OS, thus making him the only one to pilot it, and then he complains about having to pilot it? What a genius.

Athrun has a colored Gundam, so he won't be going anywhere soon.

Looks like the colony has been destroyed. Oops.

You've only just scratched the surface of what our lord and savior Jesus Yamato can do.
You're right. He was somehow able to rewrite the entire OS in a matter of seconds.

It is believed that the females lay the eggs first, and then the male comes along and secretes the liquid that fertilize the eggs.

Much like how chickens do it.

I hope Centaur's Worries gets an anime soon.

Would make for a good 1 or 2 season deal like Nozaki as a low-calorie slice of life comedy.

Well if we're getting super technical about this, tentacles monsters are probably more closely related to octopi, who have a specialized organ they use to store sperm which isn't quite a penis. During mating season, they break it off and hand it over to a female who then keeps it with her until she's ready to lay eggs.

Males who do this tend to die soon after mating.

RIP in peace you brave motherfuckers. ;~;7

Ping Pong is the best show of the year so far.

He not talking about Ping Pong.

Yep, if you haven't seen Ping-Pong, go watch it. It's brilliant. I'm not a fan of sports anime at all, and it's my AOTY so far. It's a testament to both Yuasa and Matsumoto's talents that they could make me like a sports anime!

Ping Pong, Flowers of Evil, From the New World.

Seconding these as well!

Hmm, I might be at more of a burnout risk than I thought, all things considered... maybe I should actually just set aside everything anime-related for the season and do some other stuff with my time, then come back later and backlog marathon the series I was interested in.

It's a good approach. If something ends up subpar, you'll have ample warning not to waste too much time on the finished product as well.

My dream transmogrifying into a nightmare right before my eyes.

Since there is nothing is on this week I decided to watch a backlog show and that show is Sister Princess. It's pretty bad and I think the only reason I bought it because it was on sale during the holidays for like $10. There are so many ways to say brother in Japanese.

Are monster girl anime the next idol anime?

I really hope so.

Monster idols.

Us english speaking brothers got short changed.

Psycho-Pass end
Overall, I liked the show. There were times that was a bit too pretentious for my taste with the unnecessary literature and philosophy references, but it had some great characters and I liked Akane's character arc. Makishima himself, while the most pretentious of them all, was a well developed and very threatening antagonist and every appearance of his created tension. The world building was well realized, fully exploring what happens to people and society in a country with the Sybil system. Basically, it is a country set up with only peace in mind, and takes the concept of negative peace and applies it to its ultimate limit.

The show itself could be structured in two halves. The first half was mainly like your typical American police procedural show. There would be a killer and the detectives would investigate them and solve them, except with the sci fi twist, and a lot more violent. It was a basic way to get one acquainted with the world, the characters, and the work they did. Overall not remarkable, but it was decent. The show hits its stride in the second half, after episode 11 if I remember right, where a lot of the development and motivations are shown. It was at this point that it was a show where I felt like I just had to watch the next episode.

I am not an animation expert, and wasn't too focused on it, so I am not gonna comment much on it. But I thought all the fight scenes were awesomely animated, with fluid movements and great choreography.

If there is a feel that I could put on the show, it would be that of a lecture, which is not the good part, by the way, of psychotic breakdown, and cool action show.
