Yeah exactly. If thats to scale that actually doesnt look that bad.
I know it's smaller than the 6+ that that's hardly manageable. The 6+ is absolutely massive and cannot be used with one hand.

Can't wait to get a 10 inches phone in 2021.
Another leak. Anyone still in denial about 5.9 anymore?

Actually the nexus is gonna have less useable screen-estate than the note 4 and > or = the 6+. The only time the whole 5.9" is gonna be available for use is for viewing videos/pictures.Hmm, that actually looks totally fine in terms of size. Looks practically the same physical size as the Note but with less bezel and more screen.
More interested that I was in this thing. If it has a longer battery life than the Moto X (and still has all the Moto Voice stuff that I want), it might end up being my next phone!

Dude, change the car charger, seriously.Mines pretty poor, wouldn't say the batterys degraded over the time I've had it though. Have messed around with different kernels which admittedly do give you more battery life but imo its not worth it for all the bugs/crappy performance that they bring.
The biggest killer for me is it takes so long to charge, I use my n4 for navigation so have it plugged into my cars cigarette lighter and it drains more power than the charger can supply!

I highly doubt anyone other than Sony of the big OEMs will do that. All have long since moved past 5 inches for their flag ships. Is that really 5.9 inches? That could be a knockoff for all we know.
Sony is going too far by releasing these update devices so quickly. I hope every OEM has a device in the pipe with 1440x2560 resolution, 4.7 inch+ screen, 3 GB of RAM and NFC.

The Z3 compact is a good size but it looks old/cheap now

Repeating for new page: your smaller Nexus 6 exists and it's called the Moto X.
*sigh*
People who stick with 1080p phones will always have longer battery life, but don't worry you still get to brag about all thosepixels!indiscernible

Well, these images are creations that are based off of information we have received, just like every other leak you have seen over the last couple of weeks. With that said, we have confidence in presenting these in-house made renders of what we believe the Nexus 6, made by Motorola, will look like from the back in both white and black.
You have seen front renderings a couple of times now, but nothing like this from the back. From what we know, there will be two color options initially, both white and black. And yes, the device will look exactly like the Moto X (2nd gen), only bigger. As can be seen in each image, the power and volume buttons have indeed been moved down the body ever-so-slightly, to make for easier use with the larger frame. You can also see that a vertically running Nexus logo will grace the back, just under the Motorola logo, something that was either hidden or not yet included in last weeks showing of the device next to an LG G3.
A report from last week that showed a similar mock-up was confused on the design of the back, and whether or not the Motorola dimple/logo would be present. While things can always change last minute, we are confident that the Motorola dimple/logo will be present, though its background could be a darker shade of grey depending on model.
We dont currently have anything new to report on specs, other than we have heard similar details to previous reports. We also do not have any new launch details to share at this time.
Thoughts?
Why didn't remove the Moto "M"?
This is just a render from Droid Life, it's not official.

I know it's a render, but unless its approach is completely different, it's going to be hard for me to like it.This is just a render from Droid Life, it's not official.
It's not a Nexus device. You may think it is close enough, others don't.
Not quite true, they also disappear for games. They go away when you really need the real estate, I don't understand why you hate them so much lolActually the nexus is gonna have less useable screen-estate than the note 4 and > or = the 6+. They should have went the G3 route with the bezels as the ff speakers can't carry their weight against the size of the device.

Is the manufacturer's logo usually on nexus devices like that?
Hate them? Lol nah, I've been a fan of software buttons since I imported my Gnex state sideNot quite true, they also disappear for games. They go away when you really need the real estate, I don't understand why you hate them so much lol
If that size chart is anywhere near true, holy shit. Smaller than the 6+ with a much bigger screen? Apple fucked up. From the leak it doesn't look to big in the hand at all, hype!
The X is not even close to it in terms of specs and the X2 is fuck off huge as well and much more expensive to boot.
It's not a Nexus device. You may think it is close enough, others don't.
It will satisfy any Nexus owner. It's literally a Nexus with the Moto app and a different camera app. The Moto app is the most useful app on the planet, and you can download Google Camera if you wish.
So yes, it is very much close enough.
I think that's too big for me, I'll probably just get the Moto X.
Except the Google supported updates. That is the quite a big point of the Nexus programme for me, Motorola have great for a non-nexus device at their updates, but they're still behind. I like the Nexus and Google Play Edition programme for the updates. The Moto X is more expensive and gets the updates later.
As I said, close enough for you maybe, not for others.

The 4.7" Moto X is literally the perfect form factor. I'd pay Nexus 6 prices for that phone with beefier specs.Definitive edition.

Is the Moto X Pure Edition better with Google supported updates? I am trying to decide between the Moto X and the Nexus. After dealing with Samsung for two years, quick OS updates are definitely a high priority for me.
The Pure Edition should receive basically instant updates, for everything that was baked into the OS last year has now been moved onto the "Moto" app. We're talking 99.99% stock here.
