This and Razor's Edge (very tricky to use well) are the only practical uses of Arc Blade in superhard content. That said, Bladedancers do have useful tricks beyond their super. The strategy for stealth grabbing the relic inside the portals is brilliant and I can't wait to try it.

My primary form of killing came from hanging around near the heavy ammo spawns and using a void MG during control matches. Easy to get streaks on incoming enemies. High K/D makes the bounty go by faster.

77 Wizard also put in work.

np - your guides really, really helped me out when I hit 20 and realized I had no idea what to do next. :P

I am 100 percent infatuated with this game - it's admittedly still in the honeymoon phase for me but part of it (and why I think a lot of people's completely legit criticisms with the game don't really affect me) is because of how casually I'm playing. I pick at it in 45-minute chunks here and there, and I really love the PvP (ARs just click with me) and still have fun even when I do terribly because I know it doesn't really affect my odds of getting some fun loot. I also have no real goal of trying the raid because of my casual-ness, but if anyone's on PS3 and wants to mess around with Crucible or some strikes (I'm only 25 so can't really hang with the nightfall) they can add me (PSN: lunkermesh).

So glad to hear they helped out :) and aw, wish you were on PS4! Once I'm confident with the raid I'm gonna make leading groups of casual players through a priority.

Finished my first Nighfall strike today, what a rush.

Ended up getting the Crest of Alpha Luppi :) So happy right now.

Good thing I didn't have enough coins for the helmet this week, or I would be mad about choosing between those 2 exotics

I got every single kill for that with 77 wizard, in rumble. took me 1 hr 13 minutes. highly recommended if you can get your hands on the weapon (150 crucible marks).

Bladedancer Hunters are also the best thing for the hard raid phase before fighting Atheon where you need to get the two relics. You go in pop fully upgraded Gjallahorns on that motherfucking gatekeeper and pop the bladedancer super with invisibility and pick up the relic and leave. You are done in like a minute with each portal.

I still love you Croft that you thought of this idea.

sounds so good. the popping the super just gives you an overshield during stealth because the relic is replacing your weapon/attack skills anyway.
 
Need one more for Atheon in normal Raid on PS4. We're all 28/29.

The mythoclast is a cool weapon that should stick in PVE, but it completely breaks PVP.

What is everyone's opinion on the Hex Caster Arc legendary auto-rifle? Just received it from a rare engram, but I don't know if the high rate of fire is any good, and if it's worth upgrading it to the max.
 
Alright guys, had to post this. Just did the Vault of Glass raid and had an amazing time with the following guys. Subtervotion, Alucrid, Jayforone, Ms1582, McArkus(unfortunately DCed at the last boss ;( and Primatibus who filled in! Here's a small clip of the shenanigans we were in!

Played around with Bad Juju. For a Pulse RIfle (I don't like them in this game in general), it's better than I expected. Clip size is miniscule but it's got great action. Worst thing about it is how much of your screen it occupies.

My roommate and I are looking for a group to do the raid on hard mode. Level 29 Sunsinger and level 29 Bladedancer. PS4. Name same as here. Must be at least level 29.

IMO, weapons like this and Docter Nope are pretty bad. The high rate of fire comes with a really low impact. They also tend to have low stability.

You only get the rewards the first time you beat it. For the weekly, each difficulty has its own rewards, so you can start from easiest to most fdifficult and get each reward. You can beat the highest difficulty the first time, and get all the rewards at once if you don't want to do it three times in a row.
