This game is global. It is always the middle of the night somewhere.

They're probably doing the server work first thing in the morning on the west coast of the USA. Hence the 7AM PST time. Also maybe 7AM PST is a low point for online activity time for Destiny. Hard to know whether or not that is true for sure.

Haha yeah, but obviously not for the Americas and Europe. Where I got a gut feeling that most of the players are based. :)

And I really wouldn't have an issue with the servers being down for an hour. But they're explicitly stating "several hours". I don't like the sound of that.

Knocked out Nightfall with my alt and got a Warlocks Exotic helmet.....I'm a Titan on both character slots. Haven't had that happen before. Hoping it was a one time thing.

Swat mode would be extremely popular. I love normal crucible and especially Iron Banner, but I'd definitely dip into swat now and then for a change of pace.



Finished mat farming, got lucky this time. Next up, the nightfall. Any two folks on PSN kicking about feel free to join me (ScrewAttack_). Grab the xp bonus then back to IB!

RNGesus showed me some love last night for the second time since I've started playing (first time he gave me a Grim Citizen III from a Legendary Engram). Last night a Legendary Engram dropped off a patrol on Mars- decrypted to an Exotix Icebreaker! My first exotic! Thank you based Rahool

Yup :) what i did.

Collect coins from the gear if lucky and try to get some weekly done (have 2 28-30 drag you through i do it with friends to "boost" them)

Edit: yes as Hedgey says do ranks as well (bounties at same time as your strikes)

Do everything combined and your on a winner.

Get your vanguard rep up, get marks, buy legendary gear for more light. Do daily pub events (and story once you hit 26+) to get materials. Buy an exotic armor piece from Xur. Flip the bird at RNGesus because he is a fickle god.

Really bummed that there are no set bonuses to the armor in this game. The incentive to get different legendary armor in the end game is pretty minor. I went ahead and mocked up an image of what a set bonus could look like, let me know what you guys think!

Is Iron Banner matchmaking based upon your level? If so, couldnt you equip crappy gear and queue up then equip your good gear once in game?

Having full set bonuses would have been a nice thing, another dropped ball in bungie's park.

Fuck it. I'm tired of having people quit. I'm done with Iron Banner till I find a team. I can't do this with randoms anymore. We nearly won the last match. All we had to do was survive for ten seconds and we would've won but three assholes literally stood in front of the enemy and let them kill them, costing the damn match.

Alright. Crucible marks are from MP, are the Vanguard marks just from the normal bounties?
