Even imaginary Simmons is thirsty for Mack. AKA Fitz is thirsty for Mack.

Sure but how many of them have actually had men kissing? That still (I'm sad to say) freaks out a lot of people.

Buffy came really close to having it. Another season, and he would have, probably with Andrew.

Instead, it showed up in the comic.

However, Buffy did have the first homosexual sex scene ever shown on TV. Lesbian sex, but I think it still counts.

Didn't you watch Angel S5?

Andrew was meant to leave a scene with two guys. There was a 'mix up' and he left with two stunning women. Even for a gag there was a botch up. Network TV thinks lesbians are cute, but gay guys?

I watched Season 5, but you're asking me to remember a thing that didn't actually happen.

Still, the question was about kissing, which still wasn't even slotted, though I'm certain Joss would have found a way to squeeze it in eventually.

He certainly made up for it in the comic run, though.

This is changing now though.

SHIELD can be a part of that. It's already on the way IMO.

How to get away with murder's pilot just featured rimming and in the last episode a character said "he did this thing to my ass that made my eyes water"

The important thing to remember is no one cares about those people. Pandering to bigotry is never the way. (I'm also sure that Whedon & Co. would never do that anyway.)

Mack x Fitz would be incredible, and I say full steam ahead.
I was actually thinking this.

Even imaginary Simmons is thirsty for Mack. AKA Fitz is thirsty for Mack.

I think it partly speaks to his insecurity regarding Simmons, and this is just a reflection of how he thinks Simmons might think - going for a stereotypical muscle physique as opposed to Fitz' own. He may know that Simmons is on an important mission, but he's still thinking that she also left for other reasons (rejection/moving on).

He simply misses her and the dynamism they shared when she was still around, and he's making this up to fuel that need for imaginary-Simmons.

I do wonder if imaginary-Simmons will still be around, if just to confuse his poor mind even further now that real-Simmons has returned. :P

I don't think so. I feel like the implication of that scene was that he was moving on.

holy hell mockingbird looks perfect.

I didn't really like her suit she wore in last night's ep and didn't like her hair black but that's understandable cuz she was undercover.

She looks great in the SHIELD costume with blonde hair though, so awesome.

I still love this show, mainly for Coulson. And his dinner with Raina was epic. But otherwise I thought this episode was the worst in a long time. Mockingbird looks the part, but her appearance was straight plot magic and her line delivery was... distinctive. Kyle MacLachlan's scenes- with Reyna, in the car, at the end of the episode- those are played for comedy, right?

Trying to at least. The end of the scene with Trip makes it seem he's not quite ready to let go of imaginary-Simmons.

IMO, it'd seem a bit abrupt to just have him automatically "cured" of the hallucination just because they finally meet again. The Simmons he created is going to be at odds with the real one who has changed significantly since he last saw her.

Just watched it. Pretty great episode. Show is moving at a good pace.

Was I the only one that thought the reunion scene between Hunter and Mockingbird was just a tad forced though?

Also, I'm still thinking Inhumans. You don't tease all this Kree/alien transformation stuff and then have her father being Mister Hyde. EDIT: Also the AV Club review points out the possibility that
Skye’s epiphany that the carvings are a map doesn’t mean that they’re a map to a place, but rather a map of genetic coding
. EDIT 2: and the speculation article linked in the review highlights the resemblance inside the font:

Could just be random squiggles though.

It fits into what I imagine will be how they explain Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in Avengers, and in the comics Quicksilver was at one point re-powered by Terrigen mists/crystals.

And yeah, Mockingbird is going to comply at a later date I imagine. It went to smoothly.
Also,
just kill Reina of already!
Never.
Fitz and Bobbi hook up.
Nah, it's gonna be MackFitz.

As of this evening, here are the 18-49 ratings for the most recent episodes of each scripted show on ABC (dramas are in bold):

Modern Family 3.4
Scandal 2.9
How to Get Away With Murder 2.8
Once Upon a Time 2.7

black-ish 2.5
Grey's Anatomy 2.4
The Goldbergs 2.2 (from the previous week — a Halloween cartoon aired in its place)
The Middle 2.0 (from the previous week — a Halloween cartoon aired in its place)
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 1.7
Castle 1.5
Resurrection 1.4

Last Man Standing 1.3
Nashville 1.3
Revenge 1.3

Cristela 1.2
Forever 1.1
Selfie 1.0
Manhattan Love Story 0.9

SHIELD has overtaken Castle, which I find a bit stunning. This show is now firmly in the middle of ABC's drama lineup — five dramas are rated higher than SHIELD and five dramas are rated lower than it. If that stays true for the rest of the season, I think SHIELD has a really good chance of being renewed. Because of syndication economics, that means this show will stay on the air probably until May 2017 as long as it never pulls something ridiculously low like a 0.5 over the next 2 1/2 years.

This shows how much diversity matters and why it's important to include people of color to your show's front liners.

It was pretty silly how Mockingbird's first combat scene ended with Black Widow's exact hair toss from Iron Man 2.

they probably looked at that scene a lot for directing this one. Palacki is great in the role but I'm looking forward to seeing what Kevin Tancharoen can do with her fight scenes.

So good.
Please introduce her in the movies so she can meet Hawkeye, Marvel. Plus, give her goggles/shades/whatever.

Eh, it's okay. Should have more blue.

Yeah that was... unfortunate. Action scenes are still unremarkable outside of Kevin Tancharoen's episode. They need a better fight choreographer.

Adrianne Palacki interview on EW:

How did you end up on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?
They approached me and were interested in me for the role. Of course, I’m a huge comic book fan and have been forever. My brother’s a comic book writer. Playing an action hero is always exciting, but it was scary, because I was like, “I will never be able to play another Marvel character if I go forward in this role.” There was a lot of questions and a lot of weighing the options. The showrunners were very convincing. I’m glad that we all came together and I got to be this character.

Captain Marvel????

Is Coulston ever gonna be in a marvel movie again? I suspect capt 3 or avengers 3

Didn't really stop Chris Evans, but then I guess there's the Fox / Marvel distinction and those Fantastic Four movies were awful so we've all blanked them out of our memory.

If the US gov. wants to hunt down SHIELD and Hydra why does SHIELD keep getting reckt while operating out of a secret base but Hydra can openly operate out of a big downtown office building?

I don't think they're openly operating there. There is probably some kind of front to disguise their shady secret.
