Sorry but not price cutting when your product is selling well is not arrogant. They will price cut when sales slow down. MS had to price cut because their sales slowed down (even if its temporary). If it was selling as well as the PS4 there would not be a price cut.
 
Again why does Sony have to react to an MS price drop when they've been absolutely dominant? I'm sure we'll see some BF bundles but nothing like MS, they are not the ones playing catch up here.

If Sony doesn't have a similar deal and MS outsells them 3:1 in November and December, Sony can kiss their ~1 million (sales) lead goodbye.

As it currently looks like, MS will easily win Nov. and Dec.

The PS4 has better word of mouth. All third party games run better on PS4. Third party sales sell hardware. The PS4 also has a vastly larger library of games meaning consumers have more to choose from. These things matter way more than the power of the console and some arbitrary definition of who has the better exclusives. Exclusives don't sell consoles--at least not this generation (apart from Titanfall).

You forgot the fact The Order would be removing the black bars and running at 240 FPS on Xbox One, and increasing the graphics quality even further. Misterxmedia told me so, and he's never wrong

Well PSN is getting more broken by the week, it seems.

So I would just like it if Sony really fixed PSN.
(party chats being dropped, messages not being received, save games not uploading automatically to the cloud, console not booting after standby, intermittent outages every week).

Welp, it's not my NPD prediction. Believe me ;)
But if Sony doesn't announce a similar deal and they stay at $399, ~ 2:1 might happen.
 
People are overestimating the master chief collection a shit ton. Good value to fans or collectors, but to most people they're just older games that aren't worth playing over something new like COD:AW or Destiny. And I don't think it's the type of game that drives hardware sales. It will sell to pre-existing X1 owners.

COD is going to be the real story. PS4 and X1 have been out a year now, and we're going to see if Call of Duty makes a clear break in favor of PS4 as other multiplats have done, or if X1 still has a strong brand identity there. I think this is gonna be the November decider, sans spectacular black friday deals.

Apparently so. We are going to see nothing be XBO on shelves, online orders will be all cancelled until next year. All purchases of PS4 will be delayed until next year...

I can't believe some people actually think the x1 is going to magically erase a 1200,000 million lead. So much delusion. Even if the xb1 did win it would not be more than 100k. These consoles will sell out and who ever has the most supplies will win the holidays.

There will be a huge ass glitch on every counter that makes the PS4 unidentified and cannot be sold for 2 months. Potential customers which consists of working men will set their eyes on the working man's console instead. The age of sony is done.

Thought it's "only" a 1 million lead (even slightly below 1 million)?
 
X1 will outsell them for the holidays.
But they don't care because they already have a substantial lead, and will go right back to winning as soon as January comes around.

Winning 10/12 months in the US is good enough for them.

It worked well for Destiny, Watch Dogs, Madden, etc. I'm not saying it's indisputable proof that the XB1 version will sell more, but it has been an accurate forecaster for every big game release this year.

There is no reason for you to think that Advanced Warfare will sell more on PS4 based on what evidence we have. Ghosts ended up selling more on XB1 than it did on PS4 in the long run and there was less than 1% difference in the first month.

This occurred even though it released earlier on last gen with 77% of the userbase already buying it on 360 according to Aqua/Cream.

Advanced Warfare has been trending even more in the XB1's favor and there is a bundle that has been doing very well to boot. Even the Shogun thinks your prediction is shaky at best.

Quite frankly, I have no idea why you would be so confident in that assertion. CoD is just a more popular brand on Xbox it's not going to reflect regular sales trends just as MGS won't, for example.
 
Someone remind me how many PS4s sold last November & December in NPD? Cos I remember shortages. And they'll sell the same thus year too.
