honestly I doubt raids are the biggest of their concerns right now lol.
Yeah, I can't help but think the timing of that happening in Akiba is suspicious given what Shiroe and the rest are doing.probably the best animated fight of the series somehow lol. interesting plot developments too.
zero glasses push up this episode.
its like im watching a different anime

When youhmm wonder if this was thefirst time Shiroe and Atkatsuki has died since they've been trapped. Curious how much time passes between respawns since those scrubs that died on the first few raid bosses seemed to instantly teleport to the entrance
Log Horizon Season 2, Episode 6:
You know, pretty soon we are going to need the Game of Thrones map to keep tabs on what everyone is doing at any given time if this keeps up.The world building, my god, the world building might just be what puts this title over the top on the AOTY list this year. Log Horizon understands something that once again Sword Art Online paid lip service to but never actually understood. The world of Elder Tale is not a static one and the time duration problem is indeed only going to get bigger the longer The Adventurers are trapped on this plane. Also, we get confirmation that other changes are taking place from the subtle, like right before Crusty got sucked up by a portal to hell was picking up on the fact that The Goblins are getting smarter. We get much more obvious detailing since The Adventurers are actively seeking answers about the world and I think they were pretty much confirming that Tetra is or was a guy. The transgendered characters of this universe are very intriguing idea now that the duration factor is being applied to them as well as possible future moral quandaries. I also liked we can see how powerful the so called world event magic really is, as I recall cooking is still one of the most radical discoveries ever ushered in by the Adventurers and we can see the extent of how much has changed as now even basic Adventurers can prepare basic good tasting meals without the Cooking skill. I makes me wonder if things like the world getting bigger or the flavor text becoming important are not also Adventurers mucking about with the world? Oh, yes, we see the land of the dead and we learn that the literal cost of revival is real world memory fragments and we do not know why yet. Also, shit seems to be going south everywhere and Akatsuki has learned to trust in the heart of the cards.
Right, but in previous episodes when they showed people dying in the raid , they showed up right outside of it.When youdie in a raid in MMO, you don't respawn at your usual respawn point, but at the start of the raid level. The difference between what the current raid team is able to do is leave the raid boss to recoup. Normally you wouldn't be able to just retreat, to restart the raid you would have to wipe, aka full team down.
That's the start of the raid level. Entrances to the 'raid' aren't dictated by physical barriers.Right, but in previous episodes when they showed people dying in the raid , they showed up right outside of it.
Tbh I find this about a lot of modern anime. But it hasn't bothered me too much in log horizon. This show would easily go up a few esteem levels if the cringe worthy dialogue was addressed. This is the first show I have to make the complaint that they don't talk like real people and I didn't flip my shit like this over Gundam Wing. It's really jarring sometimes.
I actually like some of the characters (in addition to the world building), but not the way they talk to each other.
just wish there was more shiro action this season. Pretty much the rest of the cast is pretty dull/generic.

Wait, what?
I think I completely missed that.Where's the evidence for Tetra being a guy?
The scenein the classroom where the Research guild guy comes and makes his little exposition speech
It's kinda of odd that out of everyone in the entire city and all those guilds, there are no other guys that are the same class as shiro.
Those binding skills would probably do wonders against murderer man.
It seemed like they were going to be alternating between scenes from a Shiroe focused ln and a Akatsuki focused one, but ever since last episode it seems like they went mostly Akatsuki only. I guess we'll probably get the Shiroe side after she's done with this story. I don't think they'd just skip it.
It isn't that odd, as I understand it Shiroe's class is the hardest to master.
Everyone wants to DPS, no one wants to support.

There's more than one support class.True. but their town has at least a few hundred/thousand players right? It's not that hard to find a support class in popular mmos of today.
Tanking is where its at.Everyone wants to DPS, no one wants to support.
Everyone wants to DPS, no one wants to support.
Just like in most MMOs.
I've been wondering this since the first episode and I'm disappointed it still hasn't been addressed in earnest.
Are these people not interested in returning to the real world?
