Best friend and I gave up.

Seriously, took an entire day of PTO. Bought a bunch of snacks. Downloaded the digital version even though I HATE digital versions.

Did everything right. Pathetic launch. Spent $60 on a game that I literally cannot play. I bought it exclusively for the MP - like many people - and it's pretty much impossible to get in a match.

I suppose I'll hope it's up by this weekend.

I felt that it was pretty bad.

I wouldn't call it shit but it gets way better.

It only gets better. It's a 13 year old game from two generations ago. It holds up pretty damn well considering.

The rest are great.

You release a HUGE game with a big patch no multiplayer working at all. Shuts down xbox live so your progress is basiclly not working, plus not release halo one maps .....yea im pretty upset now I dont even want to play the game after doing hard skull hunting and not getting any rewards from it. Then co op didnt work last night too like hours to finally get something.

Cant play campaign because achievements wont unlock so makes me not want to even play, cant play multiplayer because you cant get a match....why even release this game then?

Achievements will pop later. Titanfall and Destiny both had this problem and it's pretty widespread as far as I could tell.

I'm playing it for the story not on how it plays or looks, as it's an old game now, times and halo has changed but for me to follow the story I need to go back to the beginning and to remember this game is 2 generations old

It can't be for everyone, but please when playing remember your playing a old game and have the master Chief story on one disk and not a next generation shooter, that comes next year in the form of halo 5

To add on to his points, Halo was also originally developed as an RTS for Apple before being retooled into the console shooter that it is now. Level design isn't the greatest but for its time it was fantastic and very reminiscent of Marathon (from what I've played of marathon). And stepping out onto Halo for the first time was almost awe inspiring.

Give Halo a break people, this game is older than the majority of the Call of Duty audience.
