Instocktrades.com. If you don't live in California like me, cheapgraphicnovels.com is good too.

Perfect, thanks. Dumb question - do either of those sites allow pre-orders? It seems like I can only add to my wishlist...not sure if it's because they are no longer taking pre-orders or not.

I don't think IST does. It should be available to order on Wednesday though so it's only a few more days of waiting.

On instocktrades it will appear on Tuesday/Wednesday usually with 50% off list price.

IST usually puts up the new shit late Tuesday afternoon. Usually around 5PM EST or so. The only times this doesn't seem to happen are when there's a holiday early in the week.

Just read One Moment in Time (OMIT). That was pretty terrible. I had been mostly enjoying the Brand New Day and I thought this was an annoying and dumb interlude. Only thing I really liked was Riviera's art. Quesada's was as bad as it was on OMD. I thought a lot of the gaps that they filled in were poorly done. Felt like a very awkward workaround to have MJ want to stay with Peter but just not marry him, for example. It might have been better just to leave this stuff vague. The recurring henchman was also stupid to me. I guess I'm nearly finished BND now. How does Big Time compare? I'll eventually have filled in my Spider-Man reading gaps!

Riviera draws the best Osborn ever.

Keep reading. The only really worthless storyline from Spidey since Brand New Day was that one with Harry and American Son during Dark Reign. Literally every other story has been great.

Big Time depends on how much you like Slott (who by this point was the weakest writer of the BND crew for me). Personally I jumped off after the Marcos Martin stuff.

but I am taking tiny steps forward
I think I will finally get the next volume of Preacher tomorrow.

I am hyped as hell.

Yesss. Awesome.
I just read the issue with one of the greatest scenes in the series.
Where they're all fighting over whose tape to play on the car stereo.

Original Sin Spider-Guy

Maaan the writer wish fullfilment overtones with Silk are some seriously creepy shit.

I've been given a couple of boxes of comics I have had stored back at my parents'. One of them is fairly recent, maybe only 4-5 years. The other is pretty old though, maybe around 15-20 years. I'm going to start digging through the old one soon, see what's salvageable. They weren't stored in the best of condition but I'm curious how it's going to look.

I might put up a few I come across for some nostalgia trips in here. :)

More importantly though, I started digging through the newer crate and there's nothing better than stumbling across trades you forgot you had!

Got em both digitally already of course but I'm happy to get copies for the bookshelf.

Spiderman verse like sale on CMX

Bought the 90s Spidey 2099 issues. It's a shame CMX only has 10 issues available. I loved PADs original run

Edit: and it's embarrassing that MU only has the first 3 issues available. Get back to releasing back catalog issues on MU marvel!

Steve, the dog with no powers that we let hang out with us all for some reason
If people are concerned about international shipping, I'll drop out since I don't want to cripple anyone with fees.

There's always Bookdepository, man. You can get great trades for 20usd shipping included anywhere.

Almost finished with the Trial of Jean Grey on MU....it's hard to express how awful this is, there is no story here, only a Bendis idea. There isn't even much of a trial. I'm struggling to think of anything worthwhile over the last five issues other than giving Rucka a Cyclops book to jump off of, which is what Bendis events typically do. Random 0/10 because i'm not sure i actually read anything.

Bendis: Maybe someone else can write a good book.

Silver Surfer 7 is getting my preemptive unofficial vote for book of the month that I probably won't actually vote for when the time comes.

Axis 4 and 5..this is just the most ridiculously dumb thing and I can't even be mad at it. It feels like a "Big Marvel Event" parody.

Can I have a Remender penned Spidey team-up book though?
