Anyone else getting mad stuttering during cutscenes on PC? The actual game runs smooth as silk for me but once a cutscene starts it stutters like a motherfucker.

Yeah, really bad stutter here too. It's not simply reducing down to 30fps, it's like it's skipping a whole load of frames every couple of seconds or so. Really weird.

I can't enable Mantle either. Got a 7950 with the latest beta drivers, but the option isn't available in the options.

Is there an easy mode? Also, for those of us that want to go through the game getting better gear but without the added level of customization, maxing out the AC, etc, is there a way for the game to auto level and or equip the best stuff for you?

There is easy mode and auto level up, but you have to equip your own gear.

Jesus, a game that need day one patch isn't right.
I mean didn't they beta tested that game for months and showing if off around the web with their streams ?
Just saying that I would like dev to polish more their games before releasing it.

That's what a day one patch is...polishing the game right up to release.

sorry if this has already been asked, but the date for my DA Keep world state is super old in-game. should I just ignore this?

I'm still unsure as to what class/race to play. I'd like to go out of the typical warrior comfort zone. Might do an elf rogue.

Left - before, right - after 40mins.

Game transfers absurd amounts of data. That Denuvo... :(

Sigh.

Anyone know what format the soundtrack files are in for the XB1/PS4 Digital Deluxe? Downloaded via a desktop web browser or supplied as part of XBOX Music or whatever Sony's PS4 music service is?

Hoping for either DRM free WAV, MP3 or AAC. Anything with DRM music wise is an outright no sale.

Bessy pointed me here when I asked the same thing. https://social.bioware.com/user_entitlements.php

I assume it will be MP3 (DRM free) but I don't know for sure since it's not available to me yet.

Well, got it going on PC. Current rig is a 970 and i5 4690k. I was able to turn up all settings to max with multisampling off, and the game looks gorgeous aside from the hair textures. Constant 60 fps with no dips other than my HDD loading assets, which dropped the FPS to like 55 for a split second once at the beginning. After that, it was smooth sailing.

Playing a dual wield rogue because I want a change from always playing tank. Combat is fun, but I'm not used to just holding down a button to attack yet. Got 40 minutes in and now I have class. Looks to be awesome. Gonna be playing this all evening.

did you try with multisampling on? because I have the same as you (with 2 970s mind you) and I max out everything and get 60-80fps (I actually just switched to fullscreen/vsync instead of borderless to lock it at 60)

Imo, that's what beta testing are for.
But whatever, I won't say no to patches because I want my money to be worth it.

You guys have the right to like that : Day 1 patch.
I've the right to dislike it because that's a lack of professionalism.

End of story, let's move on.

So, wait - before the game was even installed this drive was writing an average of like 10 GB per hour in NAND? The fuck?

Only played a little but already I hate how if I'm out of range to perform an action like looting or opening a door, my character won't walk to it automatically when I click on the object. I also hate that I can't click on the ground to move, I have to turn my guy like a tank and run forward.

EDIT: i do not know if these codes work in every territory, i'm from EU.

EDIT 2: seems like at least ps4 keys are only working in EU.

first impression:

looks cool, char creation and presentation is great

- why can't I see my character model until after ? kind of annoying

- can't swap to controller in middle of game... even indie games got this right. kinda confused but oh well

- accidentally pressed ctrl which is combat pause, right when the starter bridge was falling. basically my character was just floating. it was neat seeing how lazy they got regarding the bridge behind me. complete white and untextured hah.

then as soon as i did the first thing with my hand my pc hard locked

good stuff so far

:(

You're acting like they don't patch issues prior to release though, which is ridiculous. A day one patch to fix more issues isn't unprofessional at all.

Oh ffs. This has that bullshit Denuvo too? Can devs/pubs make this super clear before hand?

On another note, with the PC version, anyone able to run the benchmark properly? Mine loads up and runs through it in hyper speed.

Hah, is that why my drive is making weird whirring noises? Yikes.

Anyways, I wasn't feeling the opening few hours of the game, but things are clicking now I've reached the
Hinterlands
. The scale is really impressive, it has that "next gen" feel I've been waiting for.

I'm sorry if I play Nintendo games that don't need one day patch like MK 8 or Bayonnetta 2. But since you don't won't drop the topic and not agree that everyone has different opinion than your, I will welcome you on my blacklist.
