so tempting. should i jump on it guys?!

If you like Assassin's Creed, yes.
If not, maybe not.

People say it's like Batman, but I didn't think the combat was as challenging, fun, or interesting. Nor is the world in any way "Metroidvania", as the Batman games are.

I didn't think the "nemesis" system was very interesting, either. It's basically some randomly generated named NPCs, ala Diablo. The world doesn't have much to do other than killing orcs and run-of-the-mill collectables. Basically you kill a ton of orcs (not difficult) and listen to Troy Baker and Nolan North deliver boring dialog.

Many consider it their personal GOTY, but personally I thought it was a completely average game.

That sounds really negative but, again, if you like AssCreed then Mordor will satisfy that itch.

IMO

i'll probably pass for now, i have a few other survival types on the backlog that need finishing. it looks rad tho.

they are going to raise the price after it leaves early access so you may want to jump in now... I really like it, the sound design is great and the UI is simple and clean, there's no complicated crafting system to bog u down either

This was why I went ahead and purchased it. The game was already something I was pretty interested in. The discount when combined with the expected raising of price once it is out of early access sealed the deal. I am planning on trying it out after I am done with dragon age.
which might not be til next year sometime at the rate I get to play games these days! >_<

This song kept playing in my head while playing this game earlier today.

It's a shame the game goes downhill the longer you play it. After all the hype and good vibes surrounding it, I played it and by the end of the second mission, I was ready for an FPS that would blow my socks off.

And then I kept playing.
And kept playing.
And kept playing.
And it definitely went downhill.

So enjoy the ride while you can, I guess?

10 minutes until profound sadness.

Wow, AssCreed 4 went from being 40% to 50% off for the daily. Pretty terrible.

I think this is the cheapest the State of Decay DLC: Lifeline has ever been.
