The question is: What are they going to do with the PC releases.
Or rip off Yu Yu Hakusho and have hell have different levels to it. Which have increasingly more powerful demons the lower you go.
DMC4 deserves its own release.
And people asking for sub-$20 for DMC4SE are being silly.
DmC is getting a ton of updates. As Dahbomb said it reads almost like an apology.
Beyond playable Vergil we know nothing of what's in DMC4:SE yet. And I doubt it ends with just Vergil.

Not just an apology. It reads like a GAF post. We had the same reaction because the post is literally regurgitating what all of us have posted in thse threads before.
It's a deliberate decision aimed at the hardcore, and it's almost an olive branch. That said, it doesn't fix the inherent issues with the game, but it's a serious series of changes.

He just wasn't Dante. DMC4 should've been a Dante vehicle with Nero as an unlockable character/style. The KYRIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeee got annoying after a bit.

Guys some awesome suggestion. I guess you guys are right that there are alternatives. I guess trying something new in this world is something I seem to selfishly want despite Dante being one of my favorite video games characters. A nice spin could be Dante teaching the MC how to be a proper demon hunter. And the MC going to Dante's club to get missions at least before everything turns to shit towards the end of the game. It would be a nice, convenient way of involving Dante without it being forced.

kinda tepid on vergils reveal. dmc4 didnt work nearly as wellwith dante considering all of the eneies were designed around neros grab mechanic i feel the same issue will be here with vergil as well. also nero was awesome and dmc4 would have been better had he gotten the new weapons instead of dante.

It's quite possible Vergil will simply be DMC 3SE Vergil with DMC4 graphics, swapped into Nero/Dante gameplay. It'd be nice if they did a story mode for him but I highly doubt it based on his DMC3SE turned out.
