3. Who is this "Lady K"? They're not going to release a demo for a game in a few months if it's actually 2 years off. A little over a year at most.

SE isn't using this demo in the conventional manner.Its not a demo indicative of a soonish release.

I bet its more of a litmus to test what ideas are working and what need to adjusted for the final game.

As such, the game will probably come a 1.5 to 2 years(roughly more or less) after this demo ,because they'll probably need to implement some changes.

I don't think they'll take into account user feedback a lot from the demo. There was a lot of criticism about only 1 playable character, and if they really listened to the fans they would've changed that already. Think the game will release 8-9 months after the demo releases, similar to FFXIII.

The game's already pretty far along (55% at TGS, and English voice recording has already started, now it's just a matter of content creation, it won't take them another 2 years)

Prompto's English voice is SO much better. Really happy about that. Sounded atrocious in the Japanese trailers. And well, yeah, I didn't expect Noctis to sound so deep either, but I think you'll get used to it quickly. The voice itself is good, though.
About Ignis: I hope there's an explanation for his accent. Would be bad if it wasn't actually thought through by the VA director with regard to the story/characters.
In the end we'll need more material to really judge. As long as there's no high-pitched, squeaky voice for any character, whose dialog consists of mostly grunts, sighs and squeals, I'm fine

BTW: Apparently we'll get a reveal of a new female character (some are speculating that it's a female Cid ) in the next few days from Japanese magazines. Nice!

Isn't Ignis an army tactician/strategist? I could imagine that his studies (in preparation of one day being Noctis' advisor) took him to some place for a year or two where the accent rubbed off on him. Or maybe one (or both) of his parents talks that way (for one reason or the other) and he's taken more to that way of talking. Ignis seems like he's a bit more formal/stick-up-his-butt than the other friends, so maybe he comes from a snobby family who think talking that way sounds more sophisticated. There are some explanations as to why he might talk with a different accent than the rest that don't have to be all that far-fetched, yet don't necessarily need addressing in the game itself because it's really not that big of a deal.

I'm wondering if they mean a Gigas and not an Iron Giant(which we've seen). Imagine one of similar scale to the one in FFVII:

The question is, if it IS a Gigas, considering the classic nods to Amano, will it look like his FFI Gigas(which FFVII's Gigas was designed to look like):

FFV should be included here, but I wouldn't mind either design. I could see the second one being chosen because of its... chains.

Man... cheesy anime dialogue really doesn't work in English, does it?

They really need to go back to their localization practices for FFXII, which was pretty damn excellent. It seems like they've been going in the direction of more literal translations of the Japanese since FFXIII. Stuff like 風呂が恋しいな (a line that's just there to convey that he misses the comforts of home after being on the road for such a long time) being translated as "Could do with a bath" (which typically implies that he stinks or is unclean, which may or may not be true) just kind of shows that the translator is probably missing the point and focusing on the wrong aspects of the script when adapting it into English.

If you've seen it, it looks like a poor photoshop edit of someone pasting aviator goggles on the still shot of Stella at the end of the first FFXV trailer(where they show all the characters' faces on white background).

That being said, the Titan or Gigas(what ever it is) looks awesome(from the blurry shot in the scan).

Also, I think it will be less reliant on QTEs and more reliant on those duo/trio attacks, they said you can link one to another, so I'm guessing that'll be most of these tougher battles.

I also really hope they don't rely on QTE in this game.
