Ok, I know the wife needs to know, but you guys are way too fucking happy about a woman knowing his husband is a cheating bastard, I feel bad for her (As I feel bad for OP), it is a good thing OP is telling her but its no reason to celebrate.

Hopefully that fucking guy (the cheating douche) gets the consequences of what he did in full.

I think the happiness stems from the OP actually going through with it and taking GAF's majority advice instead of backing down.

I was just about to say this. It seems like it's more that the OP is delivering than a celebration of ruined lives. Obviously nothing good comes out of this in real life. OP is left heartbroken but satisfied, and a couple kids could have to face a messy situation. There's nothing realistically "good" about this, but it's a better ending than most of these stories on gaf that end in OP tears.

Edit: OP do not post logs of chats or pm them to anyone. That's private information and shouldn't be dished out as juicy as some may believe it to be. Don't feed into it.
 
As much as I like the outcome of this, I was hoping a little for the cheater to get beaten up. Maybe because the first and only time I was cheated on I never knew until my SO at the time broke up with me over text and told me she did. I wanted to punch the other guy so much and did not know who he was.

I really hope your story is true but after things like "Will try to smash it for my bros xD" I have my doubts.

OP will leave this with his dignity intact knowing that he did all the right things. Despite the horrible scenario, he handled it and is still handling it like a god damn boss. Obviously, the relationships will be left in ruins, but two people decided to fuck this whole thing up, so it really is their fault for all of this.
