Bro there is plenty of auto aim they just implemented it differently.

''Bro'' (eughhh) there may be some implementation of auto aim but whatever it is it's certainly not the sticky type, it's very easy to overshoot on the Beta at the moment. Be interesting to see what 343 have done.

Man look at all those jaggies.

So far I'm loving the beta.

I just hope Halo 5 MP doesn't always do arena based maps.

I want my Big Team Battles!

I have always played bumper jumper. When I played H5 during the early beta I quickly learned bumper jumper is not good in H5. So far I think the Halo 4 control setup is the best. Its only down fall is when you try to ground pound. You have to claw or switch your left thumb to the right stick to aim.

Done a couple of matches and it feels great. Really wish there were more weapons in the beta now though and bigger maps.
Love the new things landed only 2 shoulder charges and it felt awesome each time.

Ah yes. The joys of having half-hour team quit and the last one afk. Knowing I'm being ranked makes that exceptionally frustrating. Gimme something where if half your team quits then your rank is unaffected or something.

Match finished, went down a rank, could not find a way to see the scoreboard...? so dumb.

Finding it really hard to aim well, it's like the aiming stick has zero acceleration so I overlook everything, i'm fine without sticky crosshairs the problem is the movement speed jumps to full.

A bit out off topic but I just got done recording a 5 minute clip of Halo 5, how the hell do I upload it to my activity feed?

Havn't had any issues with the build, i'm finding matches easily and havn't experienced any glitches but the game itself... not sure I like it. It's far more balanced than Halo Reach and 4 but i'm not sure it's as fun as either of them (coming from someone who disliked them). Everything feels very basic yet at the same time overcomplicated. The visuals feel kind of generic as do the weapons and controls yet the map designs, ADS and pacing are not too great imo

Well SciFi Setting + modern games with all the details tend so have that.

But I don´t want that they reduce any effects or anything.

A crisp clear visual image is better then one full of dark corners and jaggies, i'd prefer them to remove some detail and filter the image better personally.

Man, the Beta is butter smooth (in terms of not only frame rate but network performance). I won 7 out of 10 games, currently sitting with 135 kills and 65 deaths. I have a rank of Gold 1, almost Gold 2. Really enjoyed what I played of it so far, one other note, the SMG is a beast.

They should be close to the same weapons in my opinion. SMG definitely shouldn't be stronger in close range.

i think they each need a role. i'm OK with the AR being close to mid range viable and smg pretty much limited to close range, but if thats the case the smg definitely needs to be better then the AR.

What specifically don't you like about BJ? I used it in the preview and thought it was fine. More viable than in Reach/4, imo, cause no jet pack.

I think H5's soft image quality is sort of messing with me too. Hopefully they can get this to 1360x1080 + decent post-AA before launch.

Jump height is low and skill jumps are all but gone so jumping is not that important in H5. Thrust better on the bumper because I use it much more.

So does this game not work either? Downloaded the beta today and can't get into a single game.
You try hard resetting your Xbox? I had issues at first but it's been smooth sailing ever since, and seems like the majority of the people here are having a pretty solid experience finding matches too.

After playing in the preview weekend and today here is my list of changes that I would like to see:

1. The SMG is too overpowerd with the scope. Either remove the scope (unlikely, but preferred) or at least make the scope have a greater spread. I think unscoped the SMG is great as is because it dominates in close quarters as it should. Although I hope that the SAW is not returning as I feel the SMG mostly fills its role now.

2. The animation for scoping should be increased in speed, because it feels like it is too slow especially when using the sniper.

3. I am actually fine with the sights they have in the game, but I would prefer if they removed the physical gun model yet kept the same hud elements that bringing up the scope currently has because those look great.

4. I would like for scopes to be removed from the weapons that traditionally do not have them as I feel it extends their range beyond what they should be. The AR is already good at a decent distance, it doesn't need a scope to further improve its range.

5. Again, not really necessary but I think kill cams should be removed. If they are not, they should extend the time before death that it displays, because currently you only see the last shot or so that killed you. This makes it really hard to determine where grenades or people came from when using the kill cam.

6. Remove the intro and exit sequences or change them from their current form as they are too dude-bro. In the same vein, I love spartan chatter but would prefer they remove lines that say "snipes" or "power weapons" as this makes the chatter feel more gamey and not like a squad of military personnel.

Most of these are pretty minor things and I am actually incredibly happy with the rest of the games. Audio and visuals are great, as is the feel of shooting a weapon and the reduced aim assist. All of the spartan abilities also work well and I do not feel any are overpowered. Map design is also really good, artistically and gameplay wise.I really can't wait to play more and see how the rest of the weapons are coming along. I hope the covenant weapons become more competitive in this game because I love the audiovisuals associated with them but I feel that they are pretty ineffective in halo post combat evolved.
