New rumor is "next week" for pre-orders. There was an email from some gaming shop posted somewhere. Yeah vague I know.

I might as well go down on my local EB Games tomorrow and see if I can preorder the ones I want. Interestingly enough, EB Games NZ never put up the wave 3 amiibos online (they only recently put up Bowser and Rosalina) and I had to preorder the others in store.

Wouldn't be surprised if we saw loot crate exclusive amiibos at some point, just like the exclusive funko pop vinyls.

This is a great idea but I think Nintendo takes pleasure in watching us squirm.
I did notice it's still on their site and coming soon hmm. But I simply asked if Walmart and/or target would be getting that console. His system didn't say but he's thinking they will so they both got the previous Zelda themed systems.

Nah, my buddy got this and he only received the MOST common ones! Heck, they even gave him Zelda but no link! Zelda was probably the rarest btw.

The crate did its job for Nintendo as my buddy is drowning in the amiibo kool-aid now. His last crate arrived end of Dec at which point he was all pumped and asked me where he could get marth. I sat him down and gave him the straight dope about the situation.

It seems that games that give support from already discontinued amiibos bring with them a reprint of said amiibos.
Now watch Marth been bundled exclusively to Codename Steam and despair. DESPAIR.

Well, the Majora's Mask pin is the game's preorder bonus for some reason. A bundle with a compatible amiibo makes 100 times more sense than that, now that we do actually have some official amiibo bundles coming out around that time.

I found it odd that they didn't address the other amiibo shortages other than Marth. You already have everyones attention but since they didn't, it leaves me to believe no. Unless we get a Villager LE Animal Crossing U bundle.
I'd be all over a Marth/Codename Steam bundle- pls make it happen, Nintendo.

That is pretty good. CF is becoming the WFT of Wave 2. I'd do it. If you find one at retail you can always sell it off to someone for $20 later. I really doubt CF will go below $20 on the Amiibo "Market"
