Welll folks, that's about it for me tonight.
It's been good, but sleep and work beckon. Probably won't be posting much on days that I'm working, which is most of the week, but, as always, I'll definitely be checking in to see any updates.

The Port Strikes in California have been going on for a long time. Once they are resolved, I believe we will get a flood of Little Mac, Pit, Villager and rare Wave 3 amiibo enter the supply chains of Amazon, Target, Walmart, Best Buy and TRU in the United States.

Ha, yeah. Only the rare amiibos are stuck in the port strike. More likely scenario is a flood of Zelda, Bowser, and Luigi the likes of which we've never seen.

Hahahah, yeah, there's a hidden treasure trove of Little Macs and Pits in a vortex on ships in the ocean. Somehow Peaches and Kirby's found there way here in endless abundance though.

In other toy-to-life news, Disney Infinity just announced that Quorra and Sam Flynn won't get physical figures. They'll be boring old DLC. And only for the iOS and PC versions.

Outside of the UK, we are total blank. Even Japan has no info in regards to pre-orders as far as I'm concerned. Not Amazon Japan. Not AmiAmi

Sadly. It's gotten a bit quiet, slow and lonely in here. BTW, are Canadian folks using now in stock to track Rosalina? What kind of tools does Canadians have to track inventory as well. I have a friend that completely zoned out of the group chat for this other game the night Rosalina went up and she missed out. Worst part was she was still up at that time. Just wasn't paying attention
I don't think you can get Rosalina online in Canada ever again.
Amazon won't restock them, Futureshop and Best Buy are done, EB sold out (in 30 seconds). All that's left is Wal-Mart, and all the scalpers and collectors all know what's happening.
People have had luck just going to EB or Toys 'R Us in Canada to grab it, but I bet everyone checks all the stores frequently now and I heard stores are getting them in RANDOMLY.
I honestly am just so glad I imported from AmiAmi, the headache is real (if I didn't).
I've just finished updating the Ace Combat game page on amiibros with new compatibility info.
I found out today that, in addition to Chrom's list, it also supports Zelda.
I'd say support for 12 different amiibo figures is pretty darn good for a 3rd-party game!

Oh was just looking up Rosalina on Amazon (US side) and noticed the desktop figure thingies that come from gacha balls are priced at like 20 some dollars. Maybe I should have bought some more and sold them. I got mine at a convention for 2 dollars and peaked into the little holes to know which one was Rosalina. But yeah, I can get a Rosalina cat plush for that price (which looks very nice compared to the standard one. Might get one sometime down the line)

The stock was inherited due to Target dying off slowly in Canada, it's already stretched across 6 retailers (FS, BB, TRU, Wal-Mart, Amazon, EB). There's no chance of restock unless Nintendo decides to send everyone more, which I don't think is possible.
Rosalina has been a special case due to Target's situation in Canada.
But overall yes, FS/BB have not restocked any rare Amiibos at all since launch. Don't think most retailers have in general.

You're able to buy up to 3. Or are you only able to put into cart and not able to check out?
I don't know why you would buy it from TRU since Target is cheaper.
Ahh I knew that they were splitting some of Target's stock but I thought Nintendo would have shipped them more since more retailers got added to the list.

Diddy was a false rare, no one wants Luigi or he's just too common lol. Never had trouble finding one, but I never bought one.

Ahh. Well the link worked for me. But yeah, if you guys are actually looking for Toon Link, it seems like Target has it available so get it there if you wish to save a dollar (before tax). I thought people said closed orders for GameStop means that they were preparing the shipment from the warehouse or something.
well mine is for in-store pickup so not sure what that means for me then... since they aren't shipping it to me
all i care about is being able to walk into my gamestop on the 13th and pick it up :/ 'closed' status is confusing
Oh yeah. That confirms it even more. I remember reading yesterday I believe, people that work at GameStop or knew people that worked there said that closed meant that the shipment was going from the warehouse to the store and that you will be able to pick it up soon. Next week or something? Someone that remembers everything that was said can confirm the info. Wish Mononoke was here. He would have remembered it better lol.
The website doesn't accurately represent your in-store pre-order status.
If you are really worried, check with the store you set as your pick-up location. Mine still has all mine in there.
