Amiibo Thread 3 | Where release dates are made up and preorders don't matter!

Got my second Toon Link and Sheik last night!
Just need my last set from Gamestop and I'll decide which ones have the nicest paint jobs to keep and open :]

All of these Shulks shipping out is exciting! I'm hoping that means my in-store reservation will be ready soon. As I mentioned earlier, though, Shulk, Ike, and Dedede no longer show up under "My Reservations" in the Gamestop app or online through the Power Up Rewards site. Mega Man and Sonic are still there. Hoping this just means those three will be ready soon!

All of you people with your Amazon order getting shipped and I'm still waiting for them to prepare my Toon Link and Sheik :/

Is there any place where I can import little Mac for a reasonable price.
 
Has anyone used this Amiibers App? I'm guessing it isn't reliable? I just downloaded and plugged in some searches. Apparantly I'm surrounded by a plentiful amount of Villager amiibos at nearby Target stores. I want to go and actually check but that can't be possible, right?

I'm seriously doubting I will have much luck finding Shulk in stores on Friday. I hate to drive the 25 miles to get there for nothing.

I wonder if I would have more luck hoping for Shulk to go live on the Gamestop website for a short bit? After all, Target did that with Rosalina on the release date.

Anybody else doing this?

I have an expected delivery date of Friday but according to the progress, it is already in my city. It's going to be torture waiting the next 4 days with it being so close. Seriously UPS it shouldn't take that long to get a package 30 miles or so.

oh hey, my shiek from amazon that was previously delayed until further noticed has been updated to "preparing to ship, arrives Thursday" thats pretty dope. anyone in the east coast(more specifically NYC) heard anything from gamestop concerning wave 3(shulk, mega man, DDD, & ike specifically since those are the ones i got pre ordered)?

Shulk is starting to trickle in to stores (Goshen Indiana has him), Sheik and TL are in stores now, Man Mega is still in Limbo but Ike and DDD should be friday at the latest
 
Gamestop finally got my Sheik in but said Ike won't be until Friday.

Im not the biggest fan of Amiibo but seriously how many figures are out there of characters like Sheik(1 statue maybe) and Fire Emblem gets almost no love.

I've only received a pick up notification for Bowser, but I have all of them pre-ordered there. I feel like I should be getting word soon, but who knows. If Friday comes without them sending me anymore notifications, I will probably go down there to see what's going on with my orders. To reiterate, I haven't even received notifications for Toon Link or Sheik yet. Anyone here who has?

If Shulk, Ike, Dedede are no longer showing up in my Gamestop/PowerUp app as being reserved, does that mean that they are in transit? I ordered and paid them off in store.

I am probably going there later today to reserve the MLB 15: 10th Anniversary Edition but, depending on who's working, I might not get much of an answer.
 
I just noticed that Target has given me a delivery date of 2/25 - 3/13 for Sonic, Ike and Mega Man.


have other people gotten the same dates? Has anyone received delivery from Target for those figures yet?

No one really knows. I honestly believe that all the retailer exclusives will not be restocked. We know Rosalina won't be and Meta Knight won't even be in stores in Canada at least.

Maybe the first run is retailer exclusive and we will see the first restock at all retailers?

Shulk, Ike & DDD are in transit yes, so you are 99% ok barring a stupid employee selling yours

it's still crazy that TRU sold over 1000 lucarios on ebay. Only way I was able to get one.

Wow, arrived even quicker than expected (USPS said it'd arrive tomorrow). Congrats again & great to see that the winner really appreciates it. That's what I was hoping for.
