I'm willing to bet there will be a Nintendo Direct in early march that will have info on the Marth amiibo situation.
I dunno man line works pretty well for me. you can turn off notifications for individual groups by tapping the down arrow at the top right of the screen while in said group and tapping the notifications symbol. I only receive notifications from alerts not the chat.

I did that, came back to my phone 5 minutes later and it said like 20 next the app. I'm like oh em gee there must be 20 alerts in the retailer room, nope, 20 random posts in the chat room

You can make it so that Alerts chat gives you a popup with sound/vibrate/LED light whenever there's a new post.

So I live in Biloxi, MS and I just called the only nearby Toys 'R Us which is in Hattiesburg (1.5 hours away). I asked about Mega Man and was told they are sold out but that they have plenty in their distribution center and would be getting more in soon. I didn't get an actual date for that though but sounds hopeful.

But reprinted as a figurine? I remember just an announcement that they will bring back older waves.
They said they would bring more Marth's due to Code Name steam in the direct.

No, they only mentioned marth since he's impossible to find and has an upcoming game.
I wont put much stock in that though since king dedede and meta knight are basically the same thing while the new Kirby game just came out.

I found that menu but it seemed to be for the whole app and not that specific chat room. It really doesn't matter since I'm fine chatting in here though.
Get the game now and sell to gamestop when you are finished then re-buy Link. His Amiibo is common.

Gamestop manager told me when I asked if they had any non pre-order Ikes. He said that the current shipment didn't cover all pre-orders, but that they would be covered with the second shipment in May which would have some extras.

I recently posted an Alert that explain how to do just that. Now, the only Notifications on your phone will be for genuine Alerts, and that's it. I do apologize for any "false alarms", but by disabling Group Invitations and muting the general chat, you'll be able to only hear Alerts just fine.
Joei, if you would, give it another shot and you'll see that the Alerts will only be relevant to amiibos, nothing else (save for someone new making an honest mistake.) It took some tinkering, but we pretty much have it all figured out now.

I just got Kirby and the Rainbow Curse and noticed that you can use the Meta Knight and King Dedede Amiibo in the game.
I actually thought that was a little effed up of Nintendo to do that to its fans. Good luck finding them.

I am just playing the devil's advocate here that this does not mean he will be in figurine form. Iwata said expect amiibo to come as card form this year.
Marth refresh could be a figurine, or a card. We do not know at this point.

I didn't preorder anything in wave 3 because I didn't expect them to be this hard to get, then I missed a few that I wanted. So I am going to pre order the ones I want in wave 4 for sure.

Basically day 1 in store, right away online. It's the biggest reason why we have the Line Alert & Pushbullet stuff going.
You'll have to be on top of it, because scalpers are in full force atm. It's not going to get any better unless for some reason Nintendo is able to supply a ridiculously larger amount for this wave (which will never happen).

Initial Pre orders are up only a tad bit longer then restock pre orders. I'm talking maybe only a few minutes longer.
Wave 4 May be the fastest pre orders to be purchased because of how hard it was to get exclusives and others from wave 3.
I'm thinking if you're not on your game 20-30 after the pre orders are posted on ANY retailer website than you will be SOL

At this point, megaman is uncommon/rare. You'd have to get very lucky to just wander in and see him on the shelf

Mega Man really isn't possible to get by walking in a store. Everyone online is sold out at the moment. He may get a restock but who knows.
Hmm, I would go out looking but walmart, bestbuy, target, etc. say "unavailable" for store pick up near me on the website.

Right now he's pretty hard to find but I'm positive that once more start shipping out to stores he'll be easier to find, like what happened with Sheik, Bowser, and Toon Link.
New Zealand: EB Games have got even more characters back in stock. It's absurd how well stocked they are compared to the rest of the world. Mega Man and Sonic are now back. This leaves everyone from the latest wave restocked except for Ike and Shulk has sold out already. Australia doesn't appear to have restocked yet.
Walmart really doesn't get in many new amiibos if they do its like really rare and only a couple stores in the whole nation.
Best Buy for the most part did pre orders only for Mega Man, they did have a few extras at some store but those were bought by the people lining up for Meta Knight on the 20th.
Target does not sell any of wave 3b in stores so you will never find Mega Man, Ike, DDD, Sonic, they sell them on their website only. They occasionally get restocks on their website but sell out in like 10 min making them really hard to buy.

Yes... A bit more back. Why would you use those words to refer to something else. You can't bring a bit more of something back if it was never released before yet. If it was card form, he would probably would say they will release him in a different form.
Edit: He actually says they'll bring more but either way, Nintendo has been cautious with the way they word things and if they say they'll bring more, they mean the same product. Can't be more of something if it's a different product. It's like how they specifically said new 3ds xl and then we knew we were screwed
I finished the prototype of what I'll use to display my amiibos! I don't usually do craft type stuff, but this was fun!
Its made from foam and each "step" will house 4 amiibos snugly in the cut out circles
The circles are cut so the amiibos fit easily in them but do not fall out or move, so I can rearrange the amiibos as I like, or move particular amiibos to display in other locations.
You can see the circles that the amiibos sit in a bit better in this pic
This is just the first one and the edges are rough but hopefully the next few ones I try will be better now that I have the technique down for cutting the foam
Unfortunately the foam I found from the craft store wasn't thick enough so I had to double up making the process a bit more complicated and cutting a bit more difficult
