"The way I heard it was..at Raw, it might have been Lesnar, it might have been someone else, I don't know, but someone had an issue with SOMEthing...I can't say for sure what, but tempers flared, you know? And and and and in these kinds of...these kinds of high pressure situations neither person wants to back down, you know? I just don't know. It depends on the context and who was involved, and I don't know what happened, but something definitely happened involving someone with WWE."

Also, can't believe you're all letting Sunny Mac work you.

If Sunny Mac really wrote what Meltzer said by the way, it would go like this:

Well *COUGH* *COUGH* the deal is *COUGH* that Lesnar *COUGH* wasn't *COUGH* on the show and *COUGH* that's weird. I'm told *COUGH* that it won't affect *COUGH* Wrestlemania plans but *COUGH* *COUGH* I don't want to *COUGH* *COUGH* *COUGH* speculate further.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Brock left WWE and refused to come back for Wrestlemania next month? Would love to see what they'd do, as unlikely as it is.

Although that LAW after the Rumble I listened to was basically Meltzer saying "I don't know" like there was a point in even calling him.

Sue him for breach of contract and have a match between Bryan and Reigns for the vacant championship. It doesn't really matter who he beats as long as the image coming out of WM is Reigns standing tall with the belt.

Friends, don't bash Meltzer, he's just giving you what he's got to work with. Basically the gist is that Brock was visibly upset at something and left the taping early without appearing at the show. The parties around him and who would know the situation aren't saying anything, so he doesn't know.

He put that out there as a trust source of information so people wouldn't speculate wildly about why Brock wasn't on the show.

Wrestling 25/8: The latest on Brock Lesnar

Sources close to the situation have reported that, allegedly, Brock Lesnar's no-show on Monday Night RAW is the WWE's latest attempt at "layered storytelling."

The thinking is that Lesnar's non-appearance will have a greater, cascading effect on social media (Twitter, Tout, etc.) than actually appearing in an on-air segment in person. It appears the WWE has been proven right, as the story has been picking up steam all day. It's been said that, due to its success, this angle may continue all the way up to WrestleMania, with a payoff that has yet to be determined. Lesnar will continue to be paid on a per-appearance basis, remaining backstage to fulfill contractual obligations.

Friends, don't bash Smackdown. They're just trying to put out the best 2 hours of TV possible so you don't watch anything else.

Catching up on the past 4 pages...

There's a part of me that thinks we should review the stuff that happens around WrestleMania.

Say, we take a look at ROH's WrestleMania weekend shows throughout the years.

2004
At Our Best, featuring The Carnage Crew and Dusty Rhodes vs. Special K in Scramble Cage II (Oh, dear God)

2006
Supercard of Honor, featuring Bryan Danielson vs. Roderick Strong for the ROH World Championship

Better Than Our Best, featuring Colt Cobana vs. Homicide in a Chicago Street Fight

2007
All-Star Extravaganza III, featuring Austin Aries, Claudio Castagnoli, Delirious, and Rocky Romero vs. Typhoon (CIMA, Dragon Kid, Ryo Saito, and Susumu Yokosuka)

Supercard of Honor II, featuring Typhoon (CIMA and Susumu Yokosuka) and Shingo vs. Typhoon (Dragon Kid and Ryo Sait) and Masaaki Mochizuki

2008
Dragon Gate Challenge II, featuring Erick Stevens, CIMA, and Go Shiozaki vs. No Remorse Corps (Roderick Strong, Davey Richards, and Rocky Romero)

Supercard of Honor III, featuring Typhoon (CIMA, Dragon Kid, and Ryo Saito) vs. Muscle Outlaw'z (Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino, and Genki Horiguchi)

2009
Supercard of Honor IV, featuring Nigel McGuinness vs. Jerry Lynn for the ROH World Championship

Take No Prisoners, featuring Tyler Black and KENTA vs. Austin Aries and Katsuhiko Nakajima

2010
From the Ashes, featuring The Briscoe Brothers vs. The American Wolves for the ROH World Tag Team Championship

2011

Honor Takes Center Stage: Chapter Two, featuring The American Wolves vs. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team

2012
Showdown in the Sun: Day 1, featuring Davey Richards vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Roderick Strong for the ROH World Championship

Showdown in the Sun: Day 2, featuring Davey Ricahrds vs. Michael Elgin for the ROH World Championship

2013
Supercard of Honor VII, featuring Jay Briscoe vs. Kevin Steen for the ROH World Championship

Supercard of Honor VIII, featuring Adam Cole vs. Jay Briscoe for the ROH World Championship

This sounds like a cool idea, but I doubt you'd get enough participation to get it off the ground unless you knew that 4-6 guys would for sure split these shows up.

Just watched Raw and this was the first time where i thought "Yea, that Roman guy has it". He has to improve a lot in the future but the signs are there.

And yeah, that ass kissing was shit. But Roman's part was good

He was better last night, and his match against Bryan was his best yet, but his facial reactions and body language are both still really inconsistent. He needs to figure out if he's cool, funny, smarmy, or a dick.

Class act right there....can't wait for them to recreate the scene on Total Divas featuring John Cena as Solomon Crowe.

Top level human being right there. This made my day. Mad respect to Crowe.

According to JetsFan5Ever, he was mad cause he doesn't get to face Bryan at the main event of WrestleFest.

darkside may or may not be a fan of the meltzers scoopz. can not confirm at this moment but know that i was the first one to bring it up.

If Brock bails, I hope he doesn't do so until there's only like a week to Wrestlemania.

Imagine a RAW where they have to establish a whole new main event for Mania, and only have that week to do so.

Say what you want about ROH, but they jump all over these guys and get their faces out there again in no time. Props to them for knowing their audience and what they generally want to see. I'm really excited by this news.

2014: AJ Styles, Chris Hero, Christopher Daniels

2015: Alberto El Patron, Samoa Joe

Who's next to return or make an impact? This is super cool news. Dang. Wonder if Joe will make an appearance in any capacity at the Anniversary show this Sunday.

Just got tickets to RoH's March 7th show. Have I made a mistake / will I die if I'm in the first 5 rows?

If it's RoH, make sure you're at the WORST three rows back. Ideally you want to sit in the front row because it's RoH, but up to three rows back is tolerable.

Only thing worse than Meltzer are people who think coming up with fake stories is somehow funny.

Meltzerz believes darkside31337 might have actually been shooting this tuesday, and may or may not have drawn some heat upon himself.

Some backstage think he may be taking this wrasslin thread business too seriously, but some also believe he is just a mark for himself.

of course, this may all be a work. i dont know.

Got 5th :(. Aisle seat I imagine as one of us in a huge fucking wheelchair.

So, we're screwed?

You'll be fine. Enjoy. Just hope there's no uh, Hama cosplayers in front of you taking up the view. Plus, most RoH fans are spineless little shits, so you can just sit in their seats and they won't complain, just sit behind you.
