really? I've never seen pit up on amazon. ive seen the cap'n(which is how i got mines) but never pit. i just gave up on him. I guess I'll just get dark pit, better than nothing.

The folks on the comments section said it was another blip, like it was 1 that popped up if anything.
I felt sick when I saw it this morning.
comments on nowinstock.net make it sounds like it was likely a single unit and gone in a couple seconds. just like the WFT amazon had a few days ago.

to be fair, besides delays, all my pre orders with walmart were smooth and packaged great.

Stopped by my local Gamestop. I had a feeling something was up when I didn't get the call that Ike and Dedede were ready for pickup. I, like many others, were notified last week that they would be available on the 25th via the robocall.
When I get there, first the guy tells me they've got no new amiibos. But he looks up my order and then says that they only got one of each for Ike and Dedede and they have to call people in chronological order of preorder. It's on Nintendo to ship more. And if not, they'll give me back my money. Fuckin bullshit!
I had one other order for those two, but also from Gamestop, woefully. I had placed a separate WIS preorder after I called about Captain Falcon taking forever to show up to this store. With those, I've gotten the infamous spring/summer apology emails.
This sucks--looks like I'm on the hunt again.

Just picked up my amiibos from GameStop! Dedede, Sonic, and Mega Man are all perfect and look amazing.
Sadly my Ike has one thing messed up...there's a tiny little chunk torn out of the grey sword stand at the bottom, and you can see gold plastic that was under the grey. Bit of a bummer, and I was the only one who pre ordered at that store so there was only one. I really don't care that much though, as his face looks great and I'm thrilled to get an Ike at all. I'll probabaly fix it with some grey paint.

I got Ike and Dedede from Gamestop today.

I had to pick them up over lunch and just dropped them off at home quick. I didn't get a chance to look really closely, but Dedede seemed to have a few paint defects and there was a bit of a gap between the yellow and red parts of his hat... I imagine I can kind of push that back together, though, once I open him.
Either way, I'm glad to have them all (so far).

I'm glad to see people getting their orders from them, but doesn't seem like they're packing them well. I picked up Sonic and Mega Man from them in store the other day right before I posted that they were available so didn't have to worry about packaging (even though I open them anyway).

I just did a bunch of math in an excel spreadsheet (since I'm bored at work) and figured out that despite giving in to scalpers for a couple rares, and importing a few, I've only spent an average of $17.65 on the 21 Amiibo I have so far. Not bad!
Not to mention, that average will drop now that I'm getting smarter about preorders and waiting for price drops. If I can get it to $15 per I'll be pretty happy with myself.

That requires them to be able to run a web site that can handle load. Club Nintendo sure couldn't. I guess this wouldn't be so bad in that it's not a requirement to actually get one. Just to let them know to make one.

Received a call a week ago from Gamestop with an automated message about Ike arriving on 2/25 and being limited to 1 per customer.
Today I realize its 2/25 and haven't received a text or call from my Local Gamestop about picking up Ike. Worried, I call them around 2PM and they tell me they have ONE Ike left, and they would hold it for me today. Leave to go pick it up and as I'm waiting to pay, they have trouble with their new computer system. They for some reason cannot let me buy one Ike and keep the other preorder. After about 10 minutes of calling other stores they say
"Well the only solution I see is that we can cancel both your preorders and you just buy this one now."
Well, disappointed, I see it is my only option currently, and I lose my second Ike pre-order.
I didn't even get to see the Amiibo before I left the mall, I was really worried he would be a derp-face and I'd be really disappointed.
Hopped into the car and pulled out the box: Turns out he looks pretty damn good, so I'm happy, not worried about losing that second pre-order.
And with that, Wave 3 is complete and I can relax until Wave 4 preorders D:

Rosalina was confirmed to have no restocks by target , you can check out brick seek and see any stores nearby still have her in stock ,although call the store first to make sure you aren't wasting your time.
Aside form that there is speculation that all of the Store exclusives were just merely launch exclusives and that they will reach other major retailers in the future , take that with a grain of salt though.

I have a question similar to massoluk, but for Lucario. Is there any decent way to import him or catch him in TRU? He's the only one i'm missing and it burns!
They also mentioned pre-orders won't be an option. That, too, was deleted.
There are still plenty of Rosalinas here in Peru. I haven't gotten one because I don't really care for that character, I would happily get her and trade her for a MegaMan (if possible) but I guess the distance and shipping costs (not to mention the risk of the package being damaged) would be a deal breaker.
