It wasn't a book that made me look forward to the next issue. It was always one of the last things to read from my weekly pile.

That's Forever Evil. I mostly read Trinity War because JLD is one of the main titles of the event. The fourth JLD trade is just tie-in issues to Trinity War and Forever Evil: Blight, so I thought I may as well read those full events instead.

Actually its quite clear of the 20k kiss of death range, and it

so whee. I really feel, going by where the story is right now and what the solicitation for #12 says, that Slott/Allred planned for 12 issues(I think Marvel editors just tell everybody to plan for 12 issues in case you get cancelled), but the book has sold enough that it'll keep on going.

Actually his current arc with Luthor and Captain Cold is his best JL work. Also with Shazam on the team, the book has great humor also.
