It's crazy how much people are getting for that thing on ebay when it was just a $10 extra cost over the game itself. Wish I got more just so I could have an army of them standing around my house. I still wish I was able to get the WW special edition with figure, but being a Nintendo store only item kinda killed that for me.

Eh, does he need one? He's far from impossible to find in stores and he's available for purchase online right now at both GameStop and Walmart. He might not be the easiest amiibo to find, but give it a little more time for the demand to ease up and he'll be outright common. Definitely a repeat of Diddy Kong.

Not if you don't mind importing from Japan. I guess I'm holding off on buying my Gundam MK-3 Gunpla until they get a restock (Importing single amiibo by itself in't entirely worth the shipping price)

I suppose it's possible that Nintendo wont restock those amiibos in America, but it makes far more sense for them to restock them in America as well for a number of reasons, such as the cost of manufacturing being lower the more of something you order, as well as high demand for the characters in America.

Where did you hear that Next Level game was about to use Princess Peach for the secret boss fight in Punch-Out? Is there a source because I have a hard time imaging Peach in a boxing match with Little Mac

Yeah, if Nintendo is going to go through the cost of ramping up a second manufacture of a figure, they are certainly going to increase their return on investment by producing enough for a global re-release rather than limit themselves to re-suppling only a relatively small amiibo market (see their fiscal meeting showing distribution of amiibos).

Until it's a reprint with a onetime stocking. And you're going to have to wait at stores hours before opening or stick by your computer for hours hoping for preorders or some random site to throw them up to get one, same as now. It ain't gonna be any easier to get Marth and whatever else is reproduced, the only benefit is people are prepared this time, and there will be more stock on eBay from resalers :/

This would be awesome if we got more in NA. The only amiibo I still want right now are Little Mac, Captain Falcon, and Meta Knight. I think I will eventually get the latter two, but without a restock, I am doubting I have anything to trade for Little Mac and I'm not spending how much he goes for.
